It was exactly what I needed.

This Norelco is the best that I have ever used. A Panasonic was my last go to and it was OK. I have two others that I found to do a poor job. The Norelco is solid, well designed, and does a great job and that job is trimming my beard though it is able to do so much more. It is more expensive than many other choices but I believe It is worth the cost. - Older men, such as myself, find hair growing from strange places. One difficult area is around delicate tissue on the rim of the ears. A Panosonic wet dry electric razor does the best job for me on this tender tissue. Try these or others and be at ease with Amazon's great return policy.

It charged quick and was easy to use without instructions although included.I thought it would work wet but must have misread the description. I don't really need that feature so no complaints here. As a hair trimmer it should be easy to find a setting. Can't say about cleaning but appears to require no more than blowing the stubble out or rinsing with running water. Good enough for me.

I've gone through probably a dozen different beard/hair trimmers over the years, and honestly, I've been mostly frustrated. I decided to spend a bit more on this model because the reviews seemed pretty solid and I've at least gotten a couple of years of 'good' performance from other Norelco trimmers. This one by far is the best I've used, and unlike other trimmers, it doesn't seem to bind up in my course beard. I wish the attachments weren't quite as flimsy [on the tabs to the various heads that insert into the trimmer itself], those strike me as inevitably snapping off in the not-too-distant future. Regardless, it's a really nice package with three different heads for different uses: hair, body, face. So far so good- hoping this one continues to last and perform just as great for a few years to come.

The charger would not even fit into the trimmer, which makes me seriously doubt the quality of the whole product. When contacted, the seller could not help and redirected me to general Amazon support. I've had terrible luck with trimmers on Amazon, none of them last long, so this time I thought I'd finally pay more for a better brand, and yet no luck here either. I'm up to 4 trimmers to try to return to Amazon now! None have made it even close to 6 months. By the time I finally get a working trimmer, I will be buried in my own beard... Time to go back to buying things in-person, I guess.

This is definitely a high-quality product, but it's range of lengths for cutting is fairly small -- fairly short. The increments of adjustment of trim length are reasonably fine, but the longest is still fairly short.

This was a gift for my boyfriend. He loves it, says it works so much better than his old one. I helped him trim some hair on the back of his neck after he cut his hair and it was great. Light strokes got all the hair without a trace left.

Great cut selections. Easy to operate.
