We live in a house that's about 125 years old. WITH A BASEMENT. So let me tell you, the need for this machine is GREAT. Previous owners have definitely made some smells up in this house and as we are revonating, occasionally removal of walls or paneling or wallpaper uncover the delightful gift of new smells. It's like an olifactoral scavenger hunt. We regularly use this when we uncover a new smell (like catching a new pokemon) and it's very effective in cleaning the air. We regularly run it in the basement as well to hep with mold growth and to deal with the inevitable basement smell of mildew that starts to creep its way up the stairs during the damper times of year. The machine is durable, well made, and a great cost if you're dealing with incessant smells and fighting damp. Highly recommend. That being said, KNOW HOW TO WORK WITH OZONE. It's a great tool but DON'T inhale it as it is caustic to the lungs. It's a heavier gas so you can run it in the basement for several hours, using the timer so it can turn off an hour or two before you return home and you can comfortable and safely breathe the air when you get home.

Works very well. Cleans the air in minutes.

Bought a used car that had strong cigarette and weed odor (it was basically an ash tray with wheels)Ran this machine for 10 minutes (it says to run it for 3' for strong odor but I played safe) Odor is gone!After I took the seats out, wash them, carpet and roof liner too, the smell was still there. Cabin filter was replaced too. After chemicals fail to get rid of the smell I bought this phone generator.I ran the machine with the car on, recirculating the air with the fan on max speed, my daughter was pleased with the results.If it breaks later, well, a professional job will cost $180, and I could replaced the plates for $20. So a win win outcome.Instructions were enough to operate it safely and with no issues.

This small device seems to be very effective and they are right you don’t want to run it any longer than what’s recommended. We turned it on for 3 minutes in a bedroom. We got out of the house immediately. Returned in an hour and opened up all the windows and doors when we returned. It definitely has an ozone residual in the air. Disappears quickly by letting in outside air. The musty smell that was in the room has been greatly reduced.

This is the first time ever I get to use an ozone generator, which I had no idea what they were for. My car smelled so bad when I bought it. The previous owners never cleaned it, even though I had washed the interior. The smell never went away. After using this product twice the smell was gone. This is a good design and durable product. A good investment, the previous tenants had pets and for some reason, although the carpet was changed, the pet odor was still lingering. I put the ozone generator in the room once a week for four weeks. The noise level was very quiet, and the pet odor is completely gone.

I had bought a 23 year old popup camper this fall and the camper had been in storage for a while and had a funny musky smell. I had washed all the curtains, washed all the walls, & ceiling down but never could get rid of the smell. The smell was in all the seat fabrics. even after washing twice. As a last resort I bought this to see if I could remove the smell. The first time I ran it for an hour and was shock most of the strange smell was gone out of the curtains and seat fabrics. I decided to run the unit again for another hour but point it a different direction to see if I could get more of the smell out. After running it a second time the popup camper's smell was gone in the main living area but I did still notice it a little when I would open some of the cupboards doors. I ran it for another 30 mins pointing at some of the cupboards each time it's been getting better. I've been impress and I'm sure this unit would work better in a travel trailer or motor home camper since our old popup isn't sealed as well as a trail trailer. Come spring I may run the unit a few more times inside different cabinets to try to finish removing any lingering smells.

I really like this unit UNTIL I searched for a ozone replacement plate. I put the exact number in on the machine for the search AND THE WRONG PLATE SHOWS UP. I cleaned the plate i have to no avail and the performance is down. The plate I have is one that is a plug in not a plate that slides in. I will not buy a mammoth product again with such an impossible task of getting the correct ozone plate.I have searched for the last 6 months or so to no avail. The buggar keeps saying check Amazon and zero correct plate available. I would give a zero if it was possible.
