Q: Are these chrome capped like the description or black rubber capped like the picture?

It has been a couple years since they had chrome caps. If you get them from us they will have black caps. You would have to find some old ones to get the chrome caps.I hope that helps,JohnMotorcycle Solutions LLC(419)720-4313

Q: How many filters come in the purchase?

I believe you get a single filter but I used them on a Kawasaki twin V and people also get them for the inline 4 cylinder bikes as well it’s been a couple years since I bought them

all the oiling I done for mine is some mobile one 10w40 synthetic that I change oil in the truck with and seems to work great, maybe spin the filters a little over the year maybe as according to the angle of your filter application to carburetor, I just smear some on I don't squeeze it through the foam

Q: will these fit yamaha v star 650 ?

They fit most all carburetor Japanese bikes, but measure your carb. They have a rubber slip style fit with a clamp to tighten down but uni is great usually a dirt and creek crossing master but I use them on my street bikes, hope that helps
