Love This Radio
The audio quality is fantastic. I’m an audiophile, and the factory SiriusXM radio in my Audi Q5 was terrible. I bought this radio and was able to tap into my factory satellite antenna using an extension antenna cable, and this radio sounds infinitely better. So responsive and easy to use, and I love the feature where you can rewind favorite channels up to an hour and start songs from the beginning.

SiriusXM's best receiver in 10 years
I'm a truck driver. I've gone thru 3 Onyx receivers in about 5 years. The last onyx only lasted about 9 months before the contacts between the base and the receiver started shorting out and I never removed the receiver from the base unless I took vacation. The constant bouncing of the truck is the only thing I can come up with as to the reason the contacts wore out. But this Roady BT model is Superb. The best model yet. I connect it thru the Aux channel on my trucks radio. The magnet that is supplied is super strong and it hasn't come off the mount yet. I really like the 1 wire connection to the receiver. The Aux, Antennae and Receiver wires all connect to the power plug. Very straight forward connection. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

Works with 2022 Ram Promaster City stock Radio
I'm using this on a Company Vehicle 2022 Ram Promaster City van stock Radio which has no 1/8 audio connector, so I am using this Bluetooth one. I used a quarter size washer, applied double sided tape and stuck it at the front center bottom of the windshield. This allows the magnetic antenna end mount to not move about and is rock solid. I used double sided Velcro tape for the channel unit mounted and used locked car tape cable guides for routing.Sound is actually clearer (high fidelity) than the Stock Radio and has the perfect highest volume on the stock radio I am using. Bluetooth connection was pretty straight forward pairing it just fine. It does take about 1min every time at vehicle startup before the Radio recognized it can get paired automatically again.Only snag I encountered was occasional cracking sound infrequent at random times. I fixed that for the most part by adjusting the 1/8 connecter to the receiver to be solid at the right angle. It rarely crackles now. I don't lose reception except in weird areas in town I would lose Sirius signal anyway (IE airport deadspots).Highly recommend the SiriusXM Roady BT Vehicle Satellite Radio if at least one of your vehicles needs Bluetooth or you are not allowed to modify the vehicle to get an internal connection.

So far so good
So far so good! I had a little trouble connecting via Bluetooth to my 2018 F150 XL but it's working well now. Truck is an aluminum body, so the magnetic antenna didn't work as planned. I used the extra adhesive for the radio mount. I'm not sure it's going to hold at freeway speeds. I may have to figure out another option. Wish they would have included an antenna mounting option for not magnetic vehicles.

Bluetooth Connectivity Sucks Bigtime
I had an older radio playing through FM. Due to increasing interference, I wanted Bluetooth connection. Installation of the Roady BT was easy and even connecting was pretty straightforward. Satellite radio works very well in areas where the phone does not get reception. I get that a lot in flyover country. The reason I dinged this item is the Bluetooth connectivity. I have a 2014 Mercedes GLK that was not equipped with satellite radio. Every time I try to use the Roady BT, I have to pair the unit new to the car radio. While the car shows the Roady BT in the device list, the Roady DOES NOT show “MB Bluetooth” like my iPhone does. The iPhone connects without fail every time I turn on the car. The Roady shows “No Bluetooth Connection” and I have to go through the pair routine to connect. Once it’s paired, I can listen to the satellite channels without problems, until I turn off the car. When restarting the car, repeat the pairing routine. The iPhone reconnects again every time when Bluetooth is on. If I turn off the iPhone Bluetooth, the car is searching for other devices and does actually find the Roady and tries to connect. But because the Roady only connects to “Unidentified Device” instead of “MB Bluetooth” the handshake is incomplete and the car shows the external device as “turned off”. That Is a software problem in the Roady. I complained to SiriusXM and the answer I received was “Roady BT does not work with any 2014 Mercedes”. That is just hogwash. Bluetooth is an interface to connect devices with each other. If the handshake between the devices is accurately programmed, it will work! The programming in the Roady BT needs to be upgraded and can be downloaded like any other changes. Until they fix the pairing, the one star rating will remain from me. I returned my reply to SiriusXM, explaining the problem in detail, but to date have not heard anything back. About 4 weeks now. As an analyst/programmer/software designer/developer with 50 years of experience, I learned a little bit about these things! If the Roady BT does not work properly for my car, it may not work properly for your car either.

Great to have Sirius XM back
I recently acquired a Mazda CX5 turbo Carbon Edition. Can't say enough good about the car. It's only failing is that it didn't have Sirius XM. Shame on Mazda for playing the "you have to buy up to get this feature" game.I live in a area where you can get all of one FM station fairly well and it plays a lot of grunge. I'm classic rock. I had Sirius in my F150 and I lived by it.I saw the Roady BT on Amazon and I gave it a try. This little unit is a charm. The unit head fit perfectly in the front of the cubby of my center console. The power hook up plugged into the 12 volt in the console. The antenna fit decretely behind the antenna fin. I was able to route all the wiring so that it's not visible. The link to Bluetooth took a few attempts, but I got it and it functions fine.I get perfect reception. I'm very pleased with this product. Now I can zoom zoom.
