Metabo Tools are great
I have several Metabo HPT tools and this one is very good. Uses the same batteries as my 18V drill, driver, and multitool. It is well built, feels good in your hand and so nice cutting without wires!!! Everytime I would cut on plywood with the wired Skilsaw, every few feet had to stop and mess with the cord. So much better, and with a lifetime warranty to boot.

Excellent Saw
Metabo has made an excellent product with this one. This was my second metabo power tool. Makes nice, clean cuts. I have cut pressure treated 2x4's with this one and used it for building my shed. It just cuts them like butter. I used the factory blade for pressure treated wood as well. Didn't seem to have an issue. The feature I like best is the one that prevents kickbacks. It stops and blinks when it detects it. Got me to become comfortable with using a circular saw. I still take all safety precautions when using this power tool but this is a great safety feature. I have another saw that does not have this feature and can tell the difference when using this one.

Very convenient
I was very surprised at how well the 18 volt worked. I purchased it because my other tools are 18 volt also. The Metabo does not disappoint. The battery lasts a good long time. The saw itself is made very well too.
