This has been just perfect for our loose leaf teas! Easy to use and easy to clean in the dishwasher too. Just the right amount fo straining and looks the part.

I've been using it for over a year and it works very well for holding lose tea leaves.The size fits inside an average mug with room to lift it out/ move around with the handles it provided. You can definitely cover this with a lid on top of the mug and it'll be just fine.I even brew some tea by blending different tea leaves and using a small pot on the hob to bring it to heat. The stainless steel really helps with it - I have place it inside the pot and the bottom didn't melt/ changes shape.

This strainer is very convenient and easy to use. I love how it just sits perfectly in my cup and it's easy to clean up. However, there were still tiny tiny bits of my tea herb that were not successfully strained. Saying that, it doesn't bother me personally but if you are looking for your tea to be clear, then perhaps this is not the strainer for you. For a beginner tea strainer who doesn't mind, then this is perfect.

I'm happy with this product. It does what it's meant to do, fits all of my mugs. It strains the tea leaves well and it's easy to remove and clean. I can recommend it for all loose leaf tea drinkers.
