2 minute install on a 2017 Cadillac XT5. This harness performed exactly as described! Immediate disabling of start/stop function with absolutely no adverse effects. I would offer a 10 star rating if I could! If you’re frustrated with the start/stop feature (as most people are) just buy this. You won’t be sorry. Well built with OEM quality connectors that match perfectly with the existing harness. You will have to use a zip tie to affix the harness after installing, but not at all an issue. All of this for a very reasonable price. My application required the big connector, so this review is geared toward this application only. Very, very pleased with this purchase.

If you grew up like I did then you know that having a car turn off at a stop light is panic inducing and NOT ideal. I absolutely hated it.. Yeah, I could turn it off each time I get in the car but that's annoying and unnecessary. This harness was plug and play. Zero codes on the dash, zero issues. Installed on my 2020 Buick Envision (big plug). I waited a month to write this review to make sure that it worked as advertised and it certainly does! No dummy lights on the dash. Remote start works as normal. Took about two minutes to install and looks OEM. Simply find the similar wiring harness under the hood near the hood latch. Pull a small gray tab forward to disconnect, connect the unit and there you have it. No more auto start and no more remembering to push the button every time you start the car. Best 15 bucks I've spent in a while. Worth every 5 star review it receives.

I hated the auto stop and start, and was tired of having to shift into manual every single time. Now I simply put my car in drive! I was worried that a check engine light would appear but I am happy to report that no pesky lights have turned on.

I purchased this to see if this actually worked and would benefit our 2018 malibu to eliminate the annoying start/Stop. It worked for the 1st couple weeks and then today the vehicle would start and a few seconds would shut right off. I'm an MECP Certified Professional and deal with 12v systems, car audio and when I checked my wife's vehicle, the battery was good, system was good, all electrical was good and I tried stating the vehicle again, several times it failed. Went back under the hood and unused this eliminator and started the car again and it worked.Do not purchase this product as it will not work properly. There is another product that does work that is geared for GM and costs about 75.00 bucks. I tried this to see if it would also help our clients, but it will not. We will be sticking with the Metra Electronics start/Stop bypass.Beware.
