THE LOST CITY DVD
As I write - this is review 2117 - so not much use really! I was sadly disapointed. I have been a fan of Bullock for many years - She is sexy, funny and can act, but this suffers from a poor script and unimaginative direction. Also who decided to cast Radcliffe as a meglamaniac (sic?) crazy villain?? Brad Pitt steals every scene he is in and Sandra and ChanningTatum do there best with what they are given, but she was one of the (many) producers, so no excuse. This got almost rave reviews when released in the cinema, and whilst It certainly had it's moments the whole was not good enough. DVD has lots of extras including the usual (mostly) fake bloomers, and the price is right. A passable evening's fun if you are in the right mood - Maybe I wasn't!! P.S. Nobody seems to have comented that she is 58 and he is 42, but as she looks so much younger and lovely, who cares I don't!

Brad steals the film
Not the best film in the world, but definitely worth a watch. Channing and Sandra are an interesting pairing, and whilst they don't quite pull off a believable chemistry, their bickering together is quite compelling. Daniel is badly mis-cast and there are so many actors who could have delivered this role with much more aplomb. Brad makes a cameo appearance that quite steals the whole film, for the few minutes of screen time.

Very enjoyable.
I thought I’d already seen it at the cinema so I was surprised when I read the synopsis to discover I hadn’t. It’s got a great cast and is very watchable and entertaining.
