Actual fault was in the input splitting connection.
My solar system accepted the replacement inverter.

Make sure you know how to connect it to Gateway
Did not work on my system because I think you need to activate it after it communicates with the Envoy gateway. Also I found out later that you cannot mix IQ8and IQ7 microinverters on the same gateway.

Products functions as intended however they did not come in any packaging and had some cosmetic imperfections on them.

Be careful, seller shipped a non-working one
This arrived in a funky non-original box and didn't work. Verified solar panel working and called Enphase tech support, who agreed it was defective. Most likely they're installation rejects or returns, beware.
