Challenging, it's called a puzzle for a reason. You have to rely on intuition and wiles in conjunction with the instructions. Very cleverly engineered. The photos are a nice plus. The dashed lines indicating where the parts need to be placed can be confusing and lost within the illustrations.Overall a very good model with ample detail. Be aware that some of the steps on pages 55 thru 57 are in the wrong sequence for construction. Skip ahead as you go to sort out the proper order from these 3 pages. Very well done UGears!.

All the cutes are clean. It's a decent challenge gotta take you time 1 piece in the wrong place will make the rest of them out of sync pay attention to the direction very close.

Great build but some very small parts. Took some time but what else would I be doing during Covid. Kept me very amused.

We bought this model for my father however all the kids were involved in this process of assembling. This was so much fun!This Ugears kit is wonderfully designed. My dad was surprised that all the parts were well-cut and you just need to follow the instructions. Instructions are pretty clear and has lots of pictures that makes assembling easier.The only thing we needed was wax. We used candle wax and had no problem with toothpicks.I am happy that we discovered Ugears models for our family.I think it can be a perfect gift for everybody - from a teenager to an older person.

Very well made and easy to build

This is not the first UGears product that has been purchased, but it is definitely the worst cutting job making the pieces next to impossible to get off the sheet and then assemble without major alterations.

Other wooden puzzle makers include precut dowels (instead of cutting lots of toothpicks down), sand paper and a tool for pushing the pieces out of the sheet. Wish this one had those. This is a complicated design, plan on a few days to complete. The mechanical action does not work smoothly.

The built was more detailed than I had anticipate. NOT for beginners....many parts require sanding and/or basic modeling tools such as an e-xacto type knife, flat and small ret tail file for wood work. Watching assembly videos are VERY helpful although the assembly of the tanker portion is NOT available in video. Only use glue "after" if needed after assembly of sections as they cannot be changed after using glue. In the section of putting together the rubber bank motor as a spring to give this model motion a LOT to time will be required to place all the bands in place. I decided to only use half of the bands as mine is just a display model and NOT a working model. JOMO
