Fits the top of the tote perfectly and works great to filter out leaves and debris.

I have been looking for something like this for my watering totes. I had my house resided and they feed the downspout directly to it and my homemade one wasn't strong enough. This works perfectly.

This product is awesome. I have lots of trees around my house and their “debris” used to fall directly into my gutters until gutter guard was installed. That’s when I realized I need a filter. This filter works amazingly however it’s only 90% effective. I have a shingle roof and I strongly believe the shingles are leaving a peculiar residue in the bottom of my IBC tote. I have had sever thunderstorms and rinses in hopes this would address the fine particles from collecting in the bottom of the tote. I have been thinking panty hose would address this issue or some sort of extremely fine filter. Overall this product works great. I have yet to seen any mosquito larvae in my tank. I live on the east coast and mosquitoes are everywhere. I would love to see an integrated fine particle filter from this seller. Snap in the fine filter then snap on the wire mesh filter and viola! Perfectly clear water.

After 5 days of use, the screen fell apart. Poor quality would not recommend.

It fits on the outside of the tote intake, but not on the inside (per the manufacturer's warning).I find this feature just weird! But then, it may be the "self-cleaning" feature, preventing it from plugging up with too much debris. If the screen is plugged, my rainwater just flows on the outside of the tote, instead of entering it. It is wasteful.
