Replaced on Ranger bass boat
This isn’t the cheap one by no means this one is as smooth as butter and way better than factory. Only took like 20 minutes to install with common tools you probably already own.My favorite feature is the adjustable handle some of you guys have minimal clearance like me on the bow to crank this one gave me the choice to a tighter fit.

This winch a great and affordable upgrade to the old style winches.
This winch is an affordable upgrade, easy to install, and so much nicer than my old worn out traditional boat trailer winch. I don't know why I didn't get one 1.5 yrs ago when I bought my boat.

Very Smooth
I really like the smoothness of this winch. It Mounted up perfectly where my old one was. I did, however, encounter a problem with installing the handle which was mostly my fault. When installing the bolt that holds the handle on, there is a metal tube that goes into the handle and the bolt goes through the tube. I inadvertently tightened the bolt too tight and deformed the tube despite the instructions warning me to be careful not to over-tighten it. I picked up a new section of aluminum tubing at Lowe's, cut it to length and used it to fix my error, works great. The tube that comes with the winch is made with a cut that runs its entire length and is easy to deform if over-tightened so, be careful.

Solid construction. Easy crank with assist. Heavy duty hook and strap for big loads. Mounts in minutes. The easiest boat winch I’ve used.
