Great price
Bought this as a gift for my gardener. He did a great job so I treated him to a Weedwhacker and bought this extra battery. Give it a five star review because the price was good.

The Charger Does the Job
I’ve been somewhat disappointed with these chargers because for me, they just don’t last long enough. Maybe some of you have had better luck, but this is the third one I’ve bought in five years. I love the Ego brand and have a chainsaw and leaf blower from the company. The batteries are great too, though terribly expensive. This charger immediately went to work and all my batteries are primed, and just in time…a hurricane swept over north Georgia and brought down several large oak branches in my yard. I’m happy with this charger and just hope it lasts a while.

Saw this unit on sale at Amazon. Charger price, ratings, size and speed of recharge is what I was looking for as well as it being from EGO. So far, one month of use, it has been working fine. I will update if there is any change.

Works as expected.
The Ego Rapid Charger that came with my lawn mower had a frayed wire and required a warranty replacement which they happily took care. However, it took longer than I wanted to wait to arrive (over a month) so I purchased this one on Amazon to get back in service immediately (next day delivery).The charger works great and although Ego replaced my nicer model I'm happy to have this one as a backup if I ever need it or buy additional batteries. I will say that while I did not use a stopwatch and stare at it all night I have not noticed a significant difference between the rapid charger and this much less expensive speed charger and other reviews have stated that the rapid charger is only 15 minutes faster.
