It's legit. I have had others and this one give you confidence of not over grooving and works very well.

The proof is when you hit a shot. They definitely grab now.

The groove improver does work, but isn't that easy to use. If going this route, by with the handle.

I used this on my older, forged clubs and it made a huge difference. The fist pitch I hit with my lob wedge after sharpening stuck to the green like velcro. My partners were amazed and commented on the amount of backspin the shot had. NOTE - It's nearly impossible to shapren your grooves without scratching the chrome face a little at the end of each groove so if your someone who is meticulous about the looks of your clubs you may not want to use this. GrooVex recommends using painters tape on the face, but it still scratches. Clamping a popsicle stick the club face some how may prevent this. I haven't tried that yet. My clubs are old, so I don't mind. The improved backspin is worth the marks to me.

It is sharp, but it is too short. There are blade on both end, using one end the other end may cut the webspace between the first and 2nd finger. I have a small hand....

Definitely helps revitalize & get more life out of your wedges. Still getting 11,500+ spin rate on GC quad.

don’t expect these to save your old clubs and make them new again. You may be able to use them to freshen up some grove so you can play through a season but if you’re going to spend the money buy new irons or a cheaper version of this to use. Too expensive for the results. I attempted to use on some old wedges and while it did regroove to an extent. Wasn’t thrilled with results as marketed. Easy to use but probably depends on how far gone your irons/wedges are.
