Just as advertised

This was a Christmas gift that was specifically asked for and greatly appreciated.

Philosophical and interesting. In the two essays, Jung comes across as a bit bananacakes, while Pauli is a model of erudition and reason. But the biographical sketch explaining the relationship between the two men describes how Pauli lived an erratic, troubled life and how Jung tried to help him.In his essay, Jung describes doing a statistical study of astrology, and half-convinces himself there is something to it, although his interpretation of the statistics is very stretched. In Pauli's essay, he mentions this in one footnote, saying something to the effect of, "as Jung has demonstrated in this volume, there's nothing to astrology."
