Cleans and Softens
I needed a product that would help my frenchie with his itchy skin and also not strip his coat. After some searching, I came across this product. I love that it came sealed (that's a big deal for me). It smells great. Had excellent thick lather and got my dogs coat clean. I must admit, I was shocked to see dirt during the first rinse as he is bathed with a different product and I never saw dirt. I lathered him twice and his coat is shining and softer than I knew it could be. He's always had a rough feel under his belly, but this shampoo soften it all. And he smells good. He hasn't been rubbing up against the furniture, so it's a win for itch relief. Not sure how long the relief will last, but as of now, he's comfortable. I recommend this shampoo!

Breed does not matter. Smells great
We have one purebred dog (boxer) and one who is a mix of about five different breeds. It doesn't matter which breed is pictured on the bottle of this shampoo, they all work well. We have tried many different breeds of this shampoo through the years and I think the formula is the same. All of them smell great and keep my dogs clean and with soft shiny fur. There was only one slight problem the last time we ordered. The bottle had leaked but since it was shipped inside of a ziplock bag the leak was contained , only a small amount was lost. I didn't mind and I didn't bother Amazon about the problem.

Same shampoo as for all the other breeds.... OK, though.
Works fine, smells fine, dogs seem to like it. But if you think it's a special formulation for your own lovely breed, think again.

Helped my beagle's stripped coat!
We adopted a beagle with sensitive skin and a dandruff problem. She itched constantly - thought she just needed a good bath. We bought some cheap Hartz shampoo for sensitive skin. It appeared to help, but the effects wore off quickly. So we kept giving her baths (every 1-2 weeks), and ended up stripping her coat. (Our bad. Didn't know that was a thing.) She was shedding EVERYWHERE. Our home was miserable to live in. Every time she scratched, hair poofed off her body. So after some research, we buckled down and bought her Healthy Breeds conditioner deodorizing formula for Beagles on Amazon. It stopped the shedding and itching immediately and made her coat SO SOFT, shiny, and healthy. But....it didn't stop the dandruff. Two days later, after a good brushing, she flaked allllllllllllll over. So we did more research and purchased another product - Warren London's hydrating butter / leave-in conditioner. And THIS product stopped the dandruff. We apply the butter generously to her coat 1-2 days after her Healthy Breeds bath, and once again two weeks later. We bath her once a month, and these two products have taken care of 95% of her skin/shedding issues. And the best part is, when I pet her, my hand never smells like dog. =) Healthy breeds truly is deodorizing and is worth the $12.

Not a plesaant smell
I accidently ordered the deodorizing instead of the chamomile and I certainly regret it It stinks. Even my dog doesn't like the smell.

By far the best husky shampoo
My husky and I would for walks multiple times a day and she would get sweaty after running around. She had a naturally oily coat that would get pretty stinky.Other shampoos would have her clean for a day or more sometimes, but her odor always came through. I didn’t want to over wash her and make her more oily or create skin irritation. So it was such a relief for find a shampoo that worked perfectly for her breed. She didn’t need baths as frequently, and she stayed fresher for longer periods of time. She was an older husky who had health complications near the end. She had trouble going to the bathroom on herself, as she neared the end. Her baths were my last seconds with her, and she smiled the whole time. Even with more frequent baths her skin was happy.
