This battery was a replacement for Dell 5559 Inspiron. The wattage-hours are performing as advertised. The slim design for the 5559 allows for only around 40 or so Watt-Hours batteries, and this new battery is working fine. It does not self-discharge, it fit perfectly, and the price was good. This Dell 5559 has been modified for maximum RAM and an additional SSD, causing it to use a bit more power than the factory original, but this new battery still lasts for over 2 hours.

I bought for a dallas inspiration laptop, and the dell computers could be extremely picky.With some other stuff, depending on what it is. Brother works great advertise just as. Definitely buy it again.

This battery fit perfectly and I am no longer receiving the battery warning. So seems to work great so far. Can't beat the price. Very simple to install.

Glad this was available so quik. A very decent job with the products box and labeling design. Inside the box, some cool plastic pouch with the new battery held between some pads. So most will be glad also when they find how the battery fits AND started charging right away. The laptop worked while plugged in but if a power blackout occurred for even a split second it meant shutting down suddenly. So first thing I did was put this new one in and saw it begin to charge to full before unplugging. Charged to full now and I will pull the plug from time to time to keep it in shape using the stored charge and recharging as recommended. I'll probably have to come back and add the final star if it out lies it's warranty.

I am SO THRILLED! This thing FITS seamlessly. It came already 85% charged. And I must say, the packaging was so nice that for a second I was opening some top of the line super expensive something-or-nother. Really, they did a great job with the packaging. It wasn't thrown into a bag with some scotch tape like you'd expect for such an excellent price.I took a leap of faith ordering a battery that I HOPED would fit.. what a relief that it is literally an exact match. I've been using a laptop with a completely worthless dead battery for over a year, and it has been a nightmare. Every two seconds someone would accidentally unplug my cord, either tripping over it or needing to use the outlet and inadvertently pulling the plug my laptop was on. Oh and the worst was the stupid charger slipping out on its own because my leg moved. And every time I'd lose ALL my work immediately. I've been a nervous wreck because of this stupid battery problem. I should have ordered this thing AGES ago! It's so cheap! The ones on the Dell website are ridiculous. The laptop itself cost less than what they want for a new battery!Such an easy fix to such a FRUSTRATING problem. Oh the suffering and torture of trying to work with a dead battery! Just seeing that charging bar filling up has me so relieved and happy. I can use my laptop like a normal person again! Wow, the freedom.. oh my god.. now I can even leave the room with it!! Ha!

So far this battery works fine in my Dell laptop. (M5Y1K) type. It was nicely packaged in an anti-static bag in a padded box.
