It Works! Get it!
Got the cleaner right away. Had tapes that would not play from 1998 and previous years (lines, tracking issues, distorted pictures). Put this beauty in my player and ran it once. It does what it is advertised to do. Get this if you have old tapes or tapes that just will not play clearly. I love it! Seller even sent me an after purchase email on how to use it correctly. I would buy another one but I still have 49 cleanings left!

Was it worth the money
I decided to buy this VCR tape cleaner I wanted to start watching my movies on VHS again but my VCR has been around since my Son was little He’s 44 now so I started looking for one and I could not believe the prices of then new or refurbished and I was afraid that my VCR would eat my tapes up. 99.9% of my VHS tapes are Bible Stories/movies that I don’t want to get rid of so after looking into having someone convert them to DVD’s not only the cost but finding someone willing to do it (copy rights etc) was crazy I decided to buy them on DVD as a back up. I was able to find them all at a reasonable price but I still wanted to see if my VCR would still work so after cleaning it the best I could then running the tape I gave it a test with a tape that was expendable it worked as if it was brand new so I’m glade I took the chance on buying it.

IMMEDIATELY JAMMED UP AND COULD NOT REJECT IT.
Jammed up inside the VCR player. Had to disassemble the player to get it out. My other tapes worked just fine. I just wanted to clean the heads. Would not recommend. UPDATE - THE SELLER QUICKLY REFUNDED MY PURCHASE PRICE. THIS MAY BE A RARE SITUATION IN TERMS OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH IT JAMMING UP IN MY VCR. UPGRADING RATING TO 3 FOR GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Good dry vcr head cleaner
I like using this one for the everyday maintenance cleaning of the head of my vcr. I do still keep a wet cleaner on hand for the VCRs I get that are completely filthy but I love using this one in between and I like the sticker on the shell for usage tracking.
