Good Thunderbolt extender
This works to extend Thunderbolt 3 and 4 cables. Regular USB-C extenders don't work as Thunderbolt. This does the job well.

Nice! And fast!
Purchased for the mundane reason of keeping cable sprawl down on a device where performance is not a major criteria. But I wanted a Thunderbolt cable extension that I COULD use with external drives that can make use of the bandwidth if needed.I tested it first with an Acasis enclosure housing a 2TB WD SN770 NVMe drive. No drop in performance at all - still hitting ~2700 MB/s in read and write (the screen capture timing wasn't great so the write speed shows slower than actual). This on an M1 Max-based Mac Studio.Connected to a RodeCaster Pro II, it is working as expected. The cable and braided covering feel robust and of a high quality. Each connector pairs solidly with the items they're plugged into making the slight "snap" that all my other cables do.I didn't catch in the description that the connectors were aluminum so that was a pleasant surprise when I opened the box and removed the cable. All in all, very impressed with this! If it holds up as expected, you won't hear back from me as I'll still stand behind a 5-star review for it. :)

Works just fine
Needed to extend the short cable on my new USB-C doc. Plugged and an have seen no issues with behavior of the dock (power, monitor, ethernet, USBs). Bough because the right angle works best with my laptop and cable routing. Do not have a long connector sticking out in the way.

Works perfectly on my iPad.
I use mu iPad as a hardwired streaming device, place horizontally. That means the pesky adaptor dongle is hanging out in the way. This extender cleans up the mess and lets the dongle be hidden under the table.Nicely made, no problems so far.

Its alright
I bought this to go from a dock to my computer. I needed that little bit of extra distance. It worked to power the computer and project to my monitor, but the usb ports on my dock did not work. Reached out to seller and they explained to turn it the other way, and that worked. Seems like a weird sketchy fix, but it worked and continues to.

Great extension cable with a trick to it
I really loved this cable. It actually does exactly what it's meant to do. I have a docking station that originally has a really small cable, and since it gets really hot sometimes, I needed to put it somewhere where it gets more airflow. This cable helped me get to that and the length is exactly what I needed it for. Here comes the issue. When I connected this cable to the Macbook Pro M1 and the other end with the docking station, it wouldn't read the USB 2.0 ports at all. Somewhere in the comments I read that the solution for this was to turn around the side connected to the docking station, and voila! It worked perfectly.I love this cable, it seems that it's very durable and sturdy.

Started going bad after 4 months
Worked great for what I needed - an extender for my USB-C docking station's built-in cable that had a right-angle connector for the laptop end. Bought it in December 2022, then in March 2023 my computer started reconnecting to my docking station every few seconds, very annoying. When I plug the docking station's built-in cable into either of the 2 USB-C ports on the laptop directly, it works fine. I tried rotating the docking station's built-in cable 180* and it still worked fine (this can be an issue with some cheaper cables). However, no matter which orientation I plug in this extension cable to the laptop or the docking station's built-in cable, the connection still goes in and out. If you move the cable while connected (even when not moving at either end, just in the middle), it disconnects a lot so I think there are some broken wires inside the cable.I've can't figure out how to contact the seller, so I'm only left to leave a negative review. I guess I will be trying to find a better replacement.

The best hack to extending your headset Bluetooth dongle range
Just plug this cable into your powered dock (needs power to do this trick) and then put the bluetooth dongle from your headset into this cable instead of directly to your computer or dock, then extend this cable up and away from your computer and... PRESTO you just increased your range/reception by moving the dongle away from the interference of the computer. Works like a charm!
