I use it daily to plug in my laptop to an external monitor (2k 165hz) works flawlessly. The cable itself seems sturdy and well made. At the end of the day this is what you want from a cable.

Works well connecting MacBook to a monitor. I was hesitant to use it after reading the box though, “defective item, unpleasant user experience, or even if you’re unhappy about your daily life we will provide you with 18 months return services”. 5 stars just for the comedy value, bonus that it wasn’t actually defective, I’ve not had an unpleasant user experience and I am in fact satisfied with my daily life 😂

The cable is flexible and the built quality is premium.I haven't used it on a Usb 4 device but I am currently using it on a TB3 connection and usb hub, with an ultra wide monitor 2560 X 1080 at 180hz and multiple usb devices. It works flawlessly.

Bought this as I received a new work laptop which has less Thunderbolt/USB-C ports than before meaning I have to choose between power or dock on the side I used to plug both cables in (it was an old Thunderbolt 2 Dock that didn't provide power). This was the solution as the other side had limited space between the laptop and monitors without moving everything around.I did find through the use of the product that there were instances where certain docks and usb-c/thunderbolt adapters couldn't pass their USB interfaces through (e.g. Anker) and resulted in power but no peripherals/network which was strange. Not sure what specifically is stopped with this device, so YMMV depending on what you're extending.

I procrastinated for a long time about buying this. It was a lot of money if it didn't work.However, I needn't have worried as it worked just fine.It gives me that little bit extra cable length that I needed to comfortably use my Dell 3420 laptop with my WD19TB docking station exactly where I wanted it, without any loss in picture, sound or data quality.

The media could not be loaded. Needed the right angle for neatness. Needed modern i/o standards to work with my ipad pro M1 for low latency of keyboard/midi controller attached. See video, it’s almost instant response even having to route through GarageBand etc. Take care all.

Used to extend the dismally short USB C cable from my Dell TB16 thunderbolt dock, all seems to be working correctly, I don't think the dock can detect it's there. Ethernet, screens all just plug and play as before.Nice low profile connector, nice sleeve, cable seems durable. Not much else to say really, does the job!

Works nicely to route the side connection on the Quest 2 to the back, fits quite flush with the port and about the right length to route along the strap.Beyond just better cable management while using VR, some people are suggesting there are risks of port damage with extended use and using an extension could help minimise issues from port wear over time.This seemed better than most of the other options I could find at the time of purchase, it felt a bit expensive for what it is but other than it feels like it is exactly what I needed.
