Q: Can this be used as an auxiliary input? I only see a description of using it with a mic. I'd like to record audio from my computer on my iPhone.

Hi, the adapter could not be used for auxiliary input, because the CODEC inside would detect whether a mic is plugged in. If it's not a microphone, the 3.5mm port in the right side would be disabled.
