I love all the Learning Library CitH books. I homeschool and have a handful of kids 7 and under. These are perfect for elementary age level and I plan on adding to our collection. So far we have 7 of the books from this series.This book is enjoyable and filled with facts and bright pictures just like the others. It’s a perfect introductory to all things weather. So much info to to encourage questions and thoughts about weather topics, which ultimately makes kids want to do more in-depth learning on specific topics of their choice.

My child and I love all the books in this series. They are educational and entertaining. I feel good reading him these books because, you feel like you are teaching your child valuable information that might make their schooling a little easier. He enjoys it because, the absolutely amazing illustrations make it enjoyable to view and the playful wording and scenarios make the book engaging. I'm so glad that someone designed this series. Doing workbooks throughout the summer is pretty tedious after a while; regardless of the quality of the book and when one has newborn twins at home, multiple outings throughout the week are just not practical. So this series of books is a great way to entertain and inform my 4 year old of the world around him without needing to leave the house every day.

I'm a Meteorologist at a television station. For Read Across America Day, I was asked to read a Dr. Seuss book for a group of elementary school children. While there are plenty of classic options, I found this book and decided to give it a chance. This is probably one of the best $5 investments I've made in my career.In my business, we do a ton of school talks for kids. While I can talk about the science of weather with older students, there's only so much I can do with very young kids. This book does a good job explaining weather information while also being engaging. I received a ton of good feedback and plan to use it a bunch in the future. After posting to social media about it, I've had multiple other friends in the business tell me they've also ordered this book.One caveat, meteorology is filled with big words in general. While I think the book does a good job putting the terms on a child's level, a 2 year old may not appreciate it.

Very well written. I wish I found this when my grandkids were younger. It has a lot of really good information in it. I would start reading it to your kids early around age 3, and continue up til they can read it themselves. I would recommend from age 3 to age seven. If an older child can read it to a younger child, then they will get some benefit from the book without thinking is a little kids book.The reason for starting them early is before they have a fear of the weather. My daughter lost two horses in an thunder and lightning storm two years ago as both were struck at the same time by a bolt of lightning. We now have a couple of grandkids with a tremendious fear of bad weather.This book explains things on a kids level that helps kids to understand weather. Kids cannot control the weather,but this will help them to better understand what weather

The contents of the book were enjoyable, my children loved this book. But, I am a bit frustrated with this seller.We purchased new hardcover book at full price. The book arrived safely in undamaged packaging. But the book corner is covered in small dimples, as if chewed by a child or pet.I have no interest in returning this product but I saw no means to reach out to the seller to inform them of this problem except through a public review. It is disturbing to spend the extra money to purchase a new book only to have it arrive clearly used.

Fun, easy read...facts presented in rhyme that flows smoothly. Educational. Good value, nice hardcover book. You can't go wrong with most Dr. Seuss books. Sound purchase.

I bought this for one of my grand daughters for her 4th birthday. It reads like the Dr Seuss books I remember reading to my sons when they were young. The illustrations are also very good. The book is written at a level that will both entertain and teach a younger child (I think maybe 3.5 to perhaps 6 years old). The science was good though not detailed (what started this was a question from my granddaughter about a weather item and I quickly realized that not only was my answer boring but way over her head. This book had excellent (and well deserved) reviews and better answering her questions.I highly recommend this book.
