Fully clad and non stick!
Ive had these for six months and I love them! This set of Cuisanart pans are the next best thing to expensive all clad that I can see for a fraction of the cost! You need to take extra care as with all pans to never put the heat above medium, but the heated mass of the pan does the cooking, it holds the heat very well once it comes to temperature (just be patient), and the full cladding means you can heat more than water and no scorching ever! They have a mirror finish so they're non stick if you use Pam cooking spray. Eggs slide right out!One thing I've heard in reviews, is that the all clad's exterior needs less care, and I can attest these pans need work to keep them looking nice, a little Bon Ami and red scratchless pads used for glass cooktops keep the non stick mirror finish looking great! Any discoloration I get out with oven cleaner because it won't scratch, it's safe and doesn't hurt the finish. I use it all over the pan with no affect on the finish whatsoever. One thing: NEVER use the green pads or you'll scratch the mirror finish right away and be crying! Did I say don't use the green pads or any scowering pad except non scratch? Just don't. I used one for only a few seconds on one pan and now I have surface scratches I still haven't gotten out.I have noticed some sort of what looks like very small pitting on only one pan on the inside bottom, but there's no depth to it, it's just slightly off color, and doesn't effect performance or it's non stick capability, it's just curious as to why it's there and I can't seem to get rid of it, but no big deal, it doesn't look too bad, it's just not perfect anymore, if you know what I mean. I'm guessing it's the result of cooking tomato sauce in it? possibly? the acidic content might have affected it, so it might be a good idea to treat them like cast iron cookware and limit the amount of time you cook acidic foods, it happened right after I bought them but the "staining" hasn't gotten any worse so far after six months. It's microscopic, really. But it is strange. And it's not a result of the dishwasher in my case, because I only hand wash them.Even thick cast iron pans have hot spots, and these multiclad pans are no exception, but for the cost saving over All Clads I can't complain. They're very heavy and everything I cook with them is a pleasure! If you're upgrading from the pans with just the disk on the bottom they don't compare! You're looking at lifetime pans here, especially if you're just a home cook, I'm guessing from using them a short time that after five years they'll still be looking and performing like new so they should hold up, they're just not "no maintenance" like the more expensive ones.

Hefty, works well on induction stove, comes with some (for us) pretty big negatives
Pretty good quality, but with a few negatives:- edges are surprisingly sharp; already cut fingers on pot lip and handles- quite heavy- unlike our other pots, these make a loud vibrating hum when used on the induction burners- scratch easilyDespite sturdiness, if we had to do over we’d probably buy something else.
