Best mineral sunscreen
This is my favorite mineral sunscreen and checks nearly every box. Doesn't pill easily, affordable price, no fragrance, no silicones, amazing ingredients, and I love the green tint, which does make a slight difference in evening out my skin tone (I have some mild melasma from pregnancy). It also gives a nice glass skin finish without veering off into looking greasy (especially 15-30 minutes post-application).I bought this product at a 40% discount, and I was right to expect that the product would be very close to its expiration date. I decided to risk it, because it was the only way to get this sunscreen in the EU at an affordable price, when factoring in the international shipping costs and taxes. I wish this weren't so close to the expiration date, but given the pump packaging and the fact that it's a mineral sunscreen (which I'm assuming will not break down like a chemical one might), I decided to risk using this after the expiration date.

I am a guy and this is the only zinc-based everyday sunscreen I will use (3 years and counting)
Although I didn't grow up this way, I have been an anti-UV guy for a dozen years thanks to spouse. In SoCal I wear sunscreen daily on my face, but catch-22 is most zinc-based make you look white like a ghost, or they are tinted tan to look like makeup.Having tried 100+ similar SPF 15-30 daily face products (got them free from my biz) over the last 10 years, this is by far my favorite. The green also helps cancel out shaving redness on my neck and face.My only complaint about Hero? I wish they made a similar product that was SPF 50+ and water resistant for 80+ minutes, so I also could have something to wear during physical activity and mid-day during summer when UV index is highest.

Good
Love it so far. Wears well under makeup, no white cast (my skin color is white so do with that what you will). I don’t find that the green tint does anything but I don’t mind it at all. Doesn’t have a smell really, which I appreciate. I wish the SPF was a little higher but overall it does the job

The best I’ve ever tried
The best sunscreen ever 😭 I’ve been looking for years for a sunscreen like this. Mineral, acne safe but hydrating. I slept on it for so long until I saw it was marked down 40% and now I’ve fallen in love with it. Please don’t discontinue it!!!!!I was previously using tinted and foundation sunscreen. But I love that this one is so low maintenance but it still gives a slight blur to my dark spots and evens my tone. And my skin looks juicy but not too dewy and just feels refreshed. There’s no itching, pilling or other weirdness. No irritation, nothing. Just hydrating, beautiful finish and a calming feel that I actually want to reapply. That’s it. I’ve stockpiled some but Please don’t discontinue it. Don’t break my picky sunscreen heart.

Lightweight, No White Cast, and My Skin Loves It!
Finally! a sunscreen that doesn’t feel like sunscreen! The Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen is exactly what I’ve been searching for. It glides on effortlessly, feels super light on the skin, and best of all,no greasy residue and absolutely no white cast. It layers perfectly under makeup or on bare skin, and I love that it’s fragrance-free and designed for sensitive or acne-prone skin. My skin actually feels calm and protected, not smothered. It’s become a daily essential in my routine, especially because it doesn’t clog pores or cause breakouts like so many others I’ve tried. Hero Cosmetics really nailed it with this one.

Mehhh Sunscreen
I was intrigued by this sunscreen based off the positive tik tok reviews that I saw. I think for a mineral sunscreen, this one is good but not the best (I prefer the Elta MD UV elements). The sunscreen itself is pretty thin for a mineral SPF and but sometimes leaves a bit of a whitecase on me when blended in (I'm not even that tan so for darker skintones I can see this being a problem). I find that sometimes it pills and sometimes it doesn't so I guess it doesn't love certain products in my skincare routine but I haven't figured out what yet. Overall its ok but I would reach for the Skin 1004 Sun Serum over this any day since the consistency is thinner and it feels more hydrating. I probably would not repurchase this but it's not bad in any way just not the best.

Lightweight and affordable
Repurchased more than any other sunscreen. For the price, I haven’t found any sunscreen better. No white cast. Green tint helps (but not much) neutralize my rosacea. Goes on like a lightweight moisturizer. No pilling, stinging, or difficulty scrubbing off at night.

Does what it claims! Just be patient.
I was on my last bit of the Hero Sunscreen that comes in in the orange pump bottle. I got it on clearance at CVS for a couple bucks because I wear SPF on my face daily so always pick up any I find for a deal. I really liked this spf and loved the glow it gave my skin so I came to Amazon to repurchase. I found they had a redness reducing version of it, and decided to try it because I have also been in the market for something to bring down my natural redness when I go without makeup. I read others reviews mentioning it not being as effective as hoped for erasing redness as well as it pulling too white of people. What I have found is that the redness reducing isn't instant. It takes a few minutes. It isn't drastic but it definitely reduces redness. As well as the white cast. It will even out after a few minutes. I like this one just as much as the orange one I have used previously. I really have enjoyed everything I have tried from this brand.
