This is a book that is being used in one of my French classes. I don't like it as much as Barrons French for Fun, but my professor and several of my classmates really like it. I find the exercises confusing, not because they are in French, but because of the directions/ explanations. They are never quite clear so it takes doing a few examples to figure out what they want you to do. It is updated with things like email addresses and more modern vocabulary. Also, it comes with an interactive cd with additional exercises, which is kind of fun.

I bought this book to go along with an on-line French I class I was taking. The book is entirely in French, with no translations, so it is very difficult to do the "homework" or exercises on your own.You will most likely need a dictionary or French to English app if you are going to try this on your own.

used it for my teaching. Lots of errors and not super user friendly.Some topics were up to date and interesting for my students. They still learned a lot. I wish that some of the grammar points and exercises were more straight forward.
