I just took it out of the package and pointed it at my tv and it worked great !

Not worth it!
Performance, speed, quality, buttons and connectivity is all bad. Truth is the remote doesn't register your inputs properly The remote delays when you press the buttons and sometimes it doesn't even register that you're pressing anything. It is not worth it at all. Also, there's no voice recognition which was part of its advertisement when I first bought the remote.

It works as a remote if thats all you want
The voice control doesn’t work for my X90J, just makes the screen go black. Also the remote portion is a lot slower than the remote that came with the TV, clicking a button takes a visibly longer time for the TV to react. 2 Stars because it at least works

Works for TV, not for the cable box
The remote looks and feels like the original, so it's pretty nice.All the direct functions for the TV work nice but when I try to connect it to the cable box, it doesn't work. I had that issue with the last one (my dog likes to chew remotes!) and ended up buying an original Sony. Guess I'll spend the extra bucks again and return this one.
