It is the part I needed to complete the repair, and it worked perfectly.

Item has a threaded end on it, but not in the photo. Set screw works anyway once you take the snap ring off. Perfect out of box purchase.

I like that it's a genuine product, it did the job well.

Water diverter was the correct window order however, it did not fix the problem. It actually made the issue worse so I had to put the original one back in my professional plumber. Thanks for reaching out sincerely, Cal.

This is a great product direct fit . The update version that u will receive has a small washer on the push button stem , don’t worry it will fit just nicely , that’s just and updated attachment . Won’t have any effect on installation.

Needed to replace the diverted on a Kohler Rite Temp shower and tub control. It no longer would plunge. The old part was easily removed with a long 7/8" socket. I used an elective impact wrench, which made removal easy. On the Rite temp, had to remove a little bit of the plastic mud ring with a hack saw blade and snips. Took about 15-20 minutes for the whole job. Plunger is as good as new now.

I searched the part number of my rite-temp shower valve on Kohler's website and got the diverter part number which lead me to this part on Amazon -- it's wrong. I don't know who is wrong but the threads are physically to small to screw into my shower valve. I found the correct diverter valve on Amazon also which is part 108140. See picture and save yourself from doing the job twice.
