I've had all kinds of plastic storage wear, but I reach for the containers we get from our takeout orders and the deli more than any other container I own, so after I ended up with more containers than lids (they do crack after a lot of use), I decided to just buy a set like those favored containers and get rid of most of the old ones of various makes and models that were clogging up the cabinet. These containers are just what I was looking for. They stack nicely, I know the lids are going to fit, I have enough to tuck away as spares for when they start to break down, and they aren't terribly expensive. They aren't quite as heavy as the ones I'm discarding, so I don't expect them to hold up as long, but with so many more than I actually need, it'll be a while before I need to order more.

As a private chef and I use these almost exclusively for transporting sauces and prepped ingredients. They do great in the dishwasher as well.

These containers are an absolute must in my household. With a husband who works out of town all week, packing his desserts and condiments need to be in a sturdy leakproof container. So far, these have worked perfectly. Lids fit tight and do not come off during his traveling. They are dishwasher safe and last for many washings. A great container for those little banana puddings, peach cobblers, and even pickles.
