Easy to use
Worked great for upholstery project using air stapler. Really easy to understand instructions if you haven't used a compressor before. Smaller donut doesn't take a lot of space to store. Gets a little noisy but not super loud. This is a good compressor for around the house jobs.

works great for finish nailing NO OIL
What caught my attention was the fact that this does not need oil. The ones that use oil can be a pain to deal with. I had just purchased a new brad nailer, I also selected one that needs no oil YEA! By the way it works great as I have started my big project. I also selected this one because it's size makes it easier to store.

Can't say enough about this compressor
I have a large compressor for my garage, it's big, noisy, can power all kinds of tools, but in my basement shop, I need something quiet, that can work with a wide variety of small tools, and is easy to move around. So it is quite light, it's attractive (well, to me), when it runs, it has a pleasant chuffing sound, and it has sufficient capacity for electronics/woodworking/modeling uses. You can even use it to blow dust out of old electronics, although that will deplete the tank pretty quickly.Refill time is adequate, and with most tools not an issue. Use it within its design parameters and you'll love it.

Good quality unit.
Unit worked good - was replacing a previous unit (over 20 yrs old). Fairly quiet, nice speed on the compression. Much nicer method to bleed any water that may accumulate in the compression tank.

Fantastic buy
I bought this for my daughters new home. I fired this little guy up and was completely taken aback at how quite it is. I normally put these in the garage and run the hoses into the house because of the noise. Not this one. It is so quite I actually brought it into the house. I installed a new pocket door and entry door with all new casing, trim and baseboards. This did the job as well as my 60 gallon compressor. If you need a small quite compressor for trim work, cabinet work, this will do the job. Great handle, sturdy, easy to carry. Senco really outdid themselves with this one. I would recommend this many times over. I hope my daughter enjoys this after I'm done with it. I might have to keep this for myself and just get her another one!!!!

Why change
I have owned approximately three or four of these compressors over an approximate 20 year time span. It has been a wonderful compressor and lasted a long time.Unfortunately, like all other companies, Senco decided to take a great design that lasted and changed it to a design that is impossible to last as long.On the previous Designs, the handle served also as a cage to protect the motor and all the vital components of the compressor. The current design does not protect the motor at all. The motor is completely unprotected from anything that falls or bumps into it. Job sites are very harsh and rough environments. Even if you are careful with your tools, others and others around, you are not.The old designed lasted me anywhere from 5 to 10 years. This new design will be lucky to last two years. When this one breaks, I will be diligently seeking a different compressor and no longer a Senco.

Quiet enough for indoor use; not disappointed
When I was going through a kitchen remodel I noticed the wood trim guy using a small air compressor inside the house.Intrigued I spoke with him about it. I have a small pancake compressor and it is loud, so loud I cover it with a box and towels to muffle the sound. And then use hoses. Or wear ear protection. Here this guy was using this compressor inside and it was a little louder than a washing machine. When the current compressor was in a slow death mode and I had finish carpentry to do, I bought the same model and got some of the newer style hoses as well.I was not disappointed. The cycle time seemed pretty quick, a perceived 1-2 minutes. Mated with a 25' hose and a Porter Cable brad nailer I was able to sink a couple dozen two inch brads into a 2x4 in fairly quick succession. Aside from that it has a compact design with the right stuff shielded and the right stuff exposed. Also has a longer cord than the old compressor.I'm happy with the purchase. First big home job is coming up. I'm banking on ditching the old compressor.

Fantastic compressor!!!!
I have a bad back so I was in search of the lightest and smallest compressor I could find for mobile jobs. This was just about as light as they get, but I did not sacrifice one bit of performance with this little machine! It's very VERY quiet, extremely reliable, recharges itself very quickly, and of course it's light enough to carry up staircases, etc. without being too much of a strain. I would buy it again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!!!
