Was hesitant to have high expectations for the price, but after reading the reviews and my partner complaining about my mattress being too firm for his back when staying over I budged, and I'm not dissappointed. I slept on it last night for the first night and my sleep was actually a lot higher quality than it's been on this bed maybe ever. Of course its not the fanciest or nicest mattress pad on the market but it does feel a lot more like I'm sleeping on clouds! Instructions say to fluff the topper in the dryer on low for a few minutes after opening, but I was too eager and impatient so I just put it on my mattress, and covered it with my matress protector and sheets immediately. I fluffed it a little with my hands after opening it but I can already tell after a couple hours that it had fluffed up a lot. For the price, I'd say it's a good deal! Looking forward for future nights on this thing and if anything changes, I'll be sure to provide an update. I'd definitely recommend.

This is the softest mattress pad we've ever owned. It does act like a pillow-top mattress but not as puffy as that. It's a good in between if you are looking for the softness of a pillow-top but not the bulk or height of a pillow-top. 40% bamboo - claims it is cooling... isn't really. In fact, it makes it a bit warmer due to the pillowy construction. I am not sure if this is legit 40% bamboo or not. We have bamboo sheets which do a nice job of keeping you cooler but again, those are thin and this pad is a lot thicker. I would say great value for the money if you are looking for overall softness and comfort/relief from a stiff mattress. Beware that due to the puffy nature this creates a bit of shelf at the top of the bed near the headboard so pillows will crease at the bend of that shelf. I use two pillows to combat that issue.

Very comfortable. Stays puffy. It does not get hot like memory foam. Very cooling. Only problem is it makes my top sheet slide off on the corners.

I ordered this Twin XL mattress topper for my grandson's dorm room bed. It's exactly as described. I followed instructions to wash and dry it, in my front loader Washer & Dryer, and it turned out beautifully and softer. Since it was a little damp in areas, I laid it down on a spare bedroom bed for about 2 days and observed the topper expanding. I'm glad I took my time to look for the right topper on Amazon, and that I found the best one IMO. My grandson was HAPPY!

At first glance, this is wonderful! It comes vacuum sealed, so those complaining about its lack of density, just toss it in the dryer for 5 minutes then lay it out on the bed (same as you're told with the bamboo and foam particle pillows). It fluffs up perfectly and is SO comfy. Immediately took away the shoulder and hip pain from an extra firm mattress the first night, without losing the firmness of the bed I need for my back. It didn't have any of the weird packaging smells I expected, but that could be from tossing it in the dryer.Now for the Downside:The description says washable. DO NOT WASH IT. Get a mattress protector to go on top of it! I made sure to not stuff it in my home washer because of it's size. I went to a cleaner and washed it in the extra large professional machine and same with dryer. Cal-King size wouldn't have fit in my washer anyway. As soon as it was dry, I brought it home and all the stuffing bunches up. Each "pod" is now a clumpy mess, and the edging is empty every six inches. Absolute waste of $120.So, if you put a protector over this, You will love it. It's insanely comfortable BEFORE you wash it. Just make sure to fluff it up out of the box. But, for the love of bamboo, Do Not Wash It! You will have a clumpy mess to put back on your bed. The description of washable is false!

Very comfortable! This is the second one I have purchased. I’ve had the first one for several months and it has maintained its shape and comfort, even after multiple washes.
