I got this to replace the one I've had since the 1980s that, over time, lost its grip. It looks identical--and works great. I'm beginning to have arthritis, and this simple disc is so helpful.

I can my summer garden food. But have trouble sometimes opening the jars. This rubber jar opener is perfect. It helps to close the jars tightly. Then sometimes they stick and I can open them in a second. It’s great for opening all store bought jars as well.

I like the ease of use and the material. It is thinner quality than the one we lost in our house fire from lightning. That one was double the thickness. I do like the style and color. I hope it lasts as long as the original one we owned. We had it for 7 years prior to the fire and it looked new. We will see how this holds up over time.

This item serve the purpose for what it is intended. It is cute and looks really nice. Hanging on my refrigerator to open whatever container that I need.

I have one of these in my kitchen and it works well on most lids, so I bought one to keep in the master bath to use on difficult to open medicine bottles, lotion bottles, hand cream jars, etc. It saves a trip to the kitchen. Why didn't I think of this before?
