Works on the Asus Z170-A
There are many complaints on the Internet about the fact that Asus' BIOS will not enable the TPM built into the processor. This is the answer for the Z170-A. Its TPM is fully supported by the BIOS, at least by the latest (ancient) BIOS on the company's web site.

Funtions as intended
Plugged in to my older Strix motherboard this was detected immediately, and the bios then had the option to select this TPM chip rather than the software emulated one.Not much to say about it, if you have an ASUS motherboard, that has the TPM header with this pin layout this will most likely do the trick for you!

Plug and Play Joy with my ASUS TUF mark 2 Z270 motherboard
This little chip took my machine from non-Windows 11 certified to certified. No more fiddling with the set up programs, I highly recommend this if you want to install Windows 11 or have another need for TPM 2.0. I just plugged it into the motherboard and that was it.

It has been installed into the computer but not able to use because of an CPU issue that was meant to work with it giving me a problem. It is an upgrade to window 11.

Yip it works very well!
I wanted Windows 11 and couldn’t get it without TPM. My ASU’s motherboard had a connector marked TPM the same pin configuration shown in the listing so I gave it a go.After plugging it in the pc did the automatically- great value great product and well made.
