I admit that this product work as advised. Tested other products without success. The 1st time I used and fallowing the instructions it was a 8 of 10 not bad for a diy fade and keep some money on your pocket! The guards dont fit perfect in my wahl cliper but it is not a big deal. You need to fallow the instructionsbbefore use the guards! If you want to have a decent fade go and buy the Fade Guides as they paid by themself in the first use BUT... if you plan to go to a special event or date visit the barber for a pro look.

I don't know if it's the wrong clips for my buzzer but it doesn't fade my hair.

I don't think these guards fail to live up to any promise in the listing, but they did not perform as I would have liked.I am a complete novice attempting to cut my own hair and these guards were only a little help. They did not fit snugly onto my Wahl elite clippers, so they rattled, they flexed, and made a lot of noise. The graduation from a 0 or .5 guard to a 1 guard is not hard to achieve on one's own using a more traditional method. And most people's hair doesn't grow horizontally on the side of their head. A 1 guard to 3 guard graduation would be more useful for using horizontally for me.Now these guards did help my achieve a uniform fade height around about 2/3rds of my head but didn't help on the very back.I will continue to use these guards but wish they fit my needs a little better for the cost.

I absolutely loved the idea, this is what I have been looking for. The issue, which I figured may be an issue before I got them is… clippers work best when using them going from bottom to top. They do not work well sideways, and you have to use these sideways. I was really excited to use them, then disappointed with results.

I was skeptical at first since I had bad experience with other brands but these guards are best!Follow the instructions on this page or tik tok and takes some time to master the 45 angle. For first timers start with the clipper on the full open for the bald line. I look forward to saving on time and money and I will be saving hundreds of dollars fading my own hair. Take your time and be patient. I know I will only get faster and better with time. A must buy and a must have for any home kit .
