start off by saying the case is what it said it was - that's a good thing. it doesn't seem to be uniquely designed for the iphone 13 and it's features. the iphone 13 and who knows how many more versions prior (previously using iphone 4, but they are kicking me off the network due to not supporting 3 g anymore - those b@[email protected], but that's another story) open up by swiping from the bottom middle. the phone case has a protective lip encircling the entire phone and thus makes it a bit difficult to get my blue color fingers at the right spot to swipe up without being obstructed by the case... it's the small things in life.also believe this durable constructive cover is a bit slippery - good that it can handle some mishandling but would love for it to not be slippery plastic.and the charging location flip tap is secure when not charging, but to open and charge - need to use two hands to open flap (which wants to stay shut) and then plug in. i realize many will be doing wireless charging, so this comment may not affect many, but glad you are here reading up and gaining wisdom to make a prudent decision...lastly, didn't know there is a "fingerprint" reader feature for the case - if i'm missing something here, that is my life story.overall - the phone case is a good, durable phone case that fits the phone, but doesn't seem to have been designed to maximize the use and safety of the iphone 13 and its operating features.

I am keeping this case because it fits my needs the best. I love the MagSafe batteries from Mophie, Anker, and Apple for the magnetic attachment but I also like protecting my phone as much as possible and this case is perfect for me because when I am sitting at my desk it will allow me to have one less cable hanging out of my computer and simply use those cases without them being attached to the case. Then when I get home I can do the same thing. OtterBox poorly explained on the Amazon page for this product that this case will only support the passthrough power from the MagSafe batteries and this is a little upsetting to me but I still love the case.

This is the 5th or 6th time I have purchased an Otterbox for a cell phone. This one has the same quality and gives me the same confidence that my phone is protected from falls. I have yet to have one of their cases fail me. This is a fine product worth the cost. Please keep making different colors and designs, Otterbox folks!
