Excellent nonobstructed iron sight access
Mounts very solidly to my Glenfield 60 .22 and allows for excellent access to the iron sights. I don't foresee them loosening during use but if it does I am sure some non-permanent Loctite such as 242 or 262 would be fine. Good quality at a nice price.

Not enough grip on the rail
I went with the V2 because I thought having the big open space to see the factory iron sights would be nice, in practice it meant the mount could not grip on the rail as tightly as a normal set of rings. This was on a 22LR bolt action rifle with a small 3x9 scope that was pretty light so I didn't think recoil would be much of an issue. I tightened the side screws to lock the mount as tightly as possible, to the point where I thought I'd strip the screwhead or threads, but it still slid after 100+ rounds and completely popped off twice. I considered the V1, since it looked more robust, but the flat profile at the bottom doesn't look like it would work with the curved top of my rail. I guess I'm just going to have find a set of normal dovetail rings.
