Not for those who have any color deeper than fair skin.
Ok, for what it is, itâs not bad. It definitely has a good amount of sun protection, and a fair amount of pigment as well. Where this struggles is in the color of that pigment. It calls itself beige, it looks beige coming out of the tube. It is not beige. Not even a little. To be fair, itâs not supposed to be a foundation, or even a BB cream. Itâs supposed to be a strong sunscreen that also brightens, and subtly lightens, the complexion of its intended Asian market while offering a no makeup look with a dewy appearing finish. And it accomplishes that handily. However, itâs too light for even my light skin tone. At least it is if you put it on like how youâre supposed to apply sunscreen. I had to fiddle around with how to use this for several days before I was able to finally make it work. Basically, I first apply a very thin layer of an invisible sunscreen. I like the Missha Soft Finish sun milk for this. And afterwards apply a very thin layer of the Numbuzin Tone Up to brighten, and even out my complexion. If used this way it provides a nice level of sun protection, and gives me a your skin but better no makeup look. I just wish that I didnât have to layer this over another product to get the desired result. I tried mixing some of my foundation into the sunscreen to hopefully correct the shade to something that resembled my actual skin tone more. But that just made the sunscreen more cakey, and I noticed that it would start separating after about 6 hours no matter what foundation I used as a mix in. It would probably work just fine under foundation, but the point of buying this was so I wouldnât have to wear any foundation. It also settles into fine lines and wrinkles. Even if you set it with a powder. It does give a nice dewy glow though, while still staying matte on the skin. Personally, I would recommend this for anyone who is on the very fair end of the spectrum. Fitzpatrick type 1 would work best. Iâm a mid range Fitzpatrick type 2. And anyone with more youthful skin who wonât have a problem with it settling. Itâs also probably not intended for those with very dry skin. Though it looks dewy, it dries relatively matte. So better for normal, combination, and oily skin. And someone who wants a very light no makeup look. You could probably build it up to a light medium coverage, but that would be a super thick application. If that sounds like you, then this is beautiful and I very much recommend it. If not, then donât waste your time, thereâs better tinted sunscreens out there.

My sensitive skin said YES! Even right around my eyes! Woohoo!
Great product if you have sensitive, fair skin and want to replace a light foundation with a really effective sunscreen! This is SPF 50 and has ++++, which is the best! Have purchased three times. Wish they could create more shades so everyone can benefit. I would purchase all, and create new shades when more tan in summertime.Note: initially has a scent, but dissipates. Dries down to a beautiful matte finish, and can be set with a powder - I have occasionally used a SPF powder. Also use the Colorscience blush/lip sticks that are SPF 50 and waterproof mascara to create a finished look. Only drawback is not officially for active/water-sports. Stays on until removed. Use two-step process. Oil cleanser (Haru Haru Wonder) and then foaming face wash (Cera Ve for oily/normal skin).

Best base product I've ever used
I've been looking for a product that can be my sunscreen and foundation in one step and that I can apply with my hands quickly (I'm very lazy but still like looking nice). I've been using the Nars tinted moisturizer for a bit, but that doesn't have very good sun protection, so I didn't really like using that as a sunscreen replacement. It's SPF 30, which is fine, but I know I'm not using the required amount to get SPF 30, so I didn't like using that on its own. Then here comes this product. SPF 50+ PA++++, so even if I'm not using enough to get full protection, I'm still getting adequate protection, and certainly enough for someone who doesn't spend much time outside. Sheer and natural, yet can easily function as a base for a full face. Quick to apply, yet lasts for so long. Literally the best base product I've ever come across, and it covers multiple steps in one go. I love it!

Great for (very pale) oily skin! đ„
This worked surprisingly well on my oily skin, I kept touching my face in different spots throughout the day to check if there was transfer & there wasnât (to my complete shock & awe). I will say, it does tend to make my dry spots stand out if I donât moisturize my face well at least 20 minutes before applying. Iâm actually looking into getting a hydrating primer with spf in it to add to my routine- & if you have oily skin buying anything âhydratingâ might sound crazy but I swear this doesnât budge. My biggest complaint might be that I havenât found a successful way to reapply this yet, so if I had to rate it as an spf I would give it 3 âïžâs & as a skin tint (that lasts all day on oily skin & doesnât look matte/dry & sad) I would give this 6 âïžâs - I took a few stars off because having only one shade is criminal but if you are ghostly pale like me this would be a 10.
