The title says it all. I have straight but fine Asian hair. I've used numerous hair clays and waxes before, from name brands to home brew stuffs, don’t think I’m allowed to listed the names — but you get the idea. This one is by far my favorite. I like a product that provides a strong hold while giving a matte, natural look, and this product delivers. Oh, and the product alone itself gives enough volume so no prestyle products required. Loving it! I’m rocking a short quiff hairstyle fyi.

Seriously best hair product ever for my needs. I usually style my hair in a sort of faux hawk and even as my hair gets longer it maintains it's hold without making my hair stuff. I usually apply it when my hair is towel dried then blow dry it into place and sometimes add a little of another product to finish it off. Absolutely nothing works as good as this stuff. It's not greasy, it's not shiny, it's not stiff. I can mess my hair up and easily shape it back into place. It's almost better second day after sleeping on it when you have those long nights out. I picked it out by chance when studying abroad in Japan like seems to be the case with a lot of people not from Japan. I just can't live without it.

I love this product, since it gives off this natural matte look while providing the flexibility and holds...which sounds like best of both worlds, no? Well, it is until you need to wash it off. It's just so potent that it takes 2-3 passes to wash them off. And even then, it still feels a bit sticky. This product is no joke and does an excellent job, as long as you don't mind spending more time/shampoo to clean things up.

Like the other commenter, I randomly bought at a 7-11 while in Japan and never looked back. Works well with blond hair, short and long. Been using this product daily for 2 years now.Even if you "overload" your hair you can achieve a long lasting hold without the look of wet/greasy/etc look like other products do. You'll notice the difference immediately. The paste technology is made with powder, and is totally non-shine. The scent is very mild and neutral, but still has that slight musky touch.I can't recommend this product enough. Uno, ありがと!

While I was in Japan I picked this product up from a 7-11, I tried the product and completely fell in love with it. It's a matte finish meaning no shine and has a strong hold but still pliable. I first bought this product for my boyfriend when we were in Japan just to try it out and he liked it! He said it works perfectly with his hair because it holds it in place. I just recently bought one again in amazon because the one we bought from Japan run out. The seller shipped fast too. This product works depends on your hair I guess but give it a try! My boyfriend is very picky with his hair products But this one is his favorite.

The packaging and scent are nice, but it’s hard to wash out of the hair. It feels like glue.

This is a great product for high hold and low shine. It's certainly convenient to be able to order on Amazon, though you will be paying a much higher price than if you were to purchase this product in person in store.
