This product makes it so much more easier to space buttons or button holes and loops. Highly recommend

needs a little drop WD40 to loosen up the movement. Otherwise it absolutely works for me. I've been using a ruler but needed something with greater stability on the fabric and this achieves that objective.

This seems like a gimmicky tool at first but once you start using it you'll wonder how you got by without it. It's so useful for spacing out grommets or buttonholes. I even used this to help my dad space out bookshelf screw holes evenly. He was very impressed with this little doodad from my sewing box having "real tool" functionality. Easy to use and awesome to have.

Received one that was very flimsy and the slit spacing was not accurate. The pins holding the spacing between the button hole slits, if followed, gives irregular distances between buttons and button holes that are very noticeable.I requested a refund but Amazon didn't allow that, instead I received a replacement for exchange. The replacement was equally as bad as my original one. Am currently trying to get a refund from Amazon.

Sturdy, easy to use, I never have trouble figuring out the spacing for my button holes anymore!

This works well for shirts as long as you don’t pull it open the entire width. It’s difficult to squeeze back together. But for jackets, or wider spaced large buttons this isn’t wide enough.

Finally got to use this today. Was so easy not having to figure measurements and marking and remarking. A must have if you do any kind or corsets or buttons.
