SharkBite PEX Clamp Tool, Standard Handle, Plumbing Fittings, PEX, PE-RT, 23081

Just got this Pex-B Clamp and did only 8 crimp fittings on 1/2 PEX. As long as you hold it perpendicular to the clamp, it does a beautiful job. We have a suspicion we may have thrown the calibration checker away? We didn't find anything in the packaging? Not sure what is looks like, however. I don't see any adjustments on the Clamp Tool even if it was out of adjustment. Maybe I can call the Manufacturer for more information? It is simple to use and a simple design. Simple is good. Got this one on a discount which made the buying decision easier. Thank you.We previously had the Apollo Pex Clamp tool from HD. It had a Blue LED that lit when the crimp was completed. After around 6 - 1" crimps, the LED quit lighting. It came with extra batteries but the problem was the fine wire to the battery holder broke. There was also a return spring that was popping out. Junk. Glad we got our $$ back. It was pretty cool, while it worked.

Works much better than my copper PEX crimping tool and copper rings. This with the stainless rings makes plumbing and plumbing repairs easy!!!

Very good tool, great choice for DIY or professional, I would like for the handles to be longer.Takes a lot of force to operate.

Purchased to reroute water supply with new water heater. Easy to use even in tight space.

Simple and easy

I went to buy one of these at my local hardware store but they were out. On here it was the same tool (different maker) and was $10 less. It worked perfectly and happy to put it in my tool collection.

Worked well! Super easy to use.No leaks. The tool wont release until it’s properly crimped. Just make sure you double check the gap of the tool using the provided gauge prior to use.Closing the handle takes a bit of strength, but I think it’s very doable for lost people. After doing about ten of them in a row though, your arm/hands may be a bit tired.
