Global Utility Knife
Really like this everyday utility knife - it's very comfortable to use and Global is a great brand.

My favorite knife
I bought this in 2015, and this has been my favorite knife I’ve ever owned. I use it daily in my kitchen, and I really like the way it feels in my hand. I have a set of expensive German knives, and I much prefer this one. It’s easy to sharpen, and is in great shape after years of use. I’d recommend it to anyone.

the ultimate cooking knife
This knife is amazingly sharp although you do have to take care of it to maintain the edge. Wipe it off after each use, don't put it in the dishwasher, and sharpen it with a wetstone periodically and you'll enjoy a lifetime of use from this amazing knife. In addition to being razor sharp it's lightweight, ergonomic, and a pleasure to use. It's a little expensive but worth the money and much better than other knives we have of the same price. Using this knife will spoil you. You won’t want to use other knives. We have global knives in three other sizes/styles and each one is the same - fantastic!

Great knife but serial number missing from box
I love Global knives. This one is the perfect size (can be used for utility or paring) and has wonderful balance. I love how lightweight it is. My only concern is that the box didn't have serial number information on it like other Global knives I own so I'm unable to register it, which means I can't take advantage not of Global's lifetime warranty. Does anyone know if these are actually Global knives or if they are counterfeit? I know it says Global for the manufacturer on the main page but I don't know what Amazon is shipping out. If they are real (I sincerely hope they are!), how do I register my knife? From Global's website:"Unfortunately GLOBAL knives have been reproduced and copied recently by malicious dealers. We feel it important to remind you to exercise caution when buying GLOBAL products. Counterfeit products are not covered by the GLOBAL warranty."You might come into contact with counterfeit products through the internet or at street vendors. Counterfeit knives surely are cheap but the edge will only last for a short time, despite the logo on the blade. They are often made of inferior cheaper steel, under poor manufacturing standards."The easiest way to prevent being a purchaser of a fake product, is to buy from our authorized distributors. It should be noted that GLOBAL is a registered trademark in the major countries of our market, despite the fact that some counterfeit products have duplicated this protected trademark. If you seem to come across something fake, please report to us the details."Buying fake and counterfeit goods are as illegal as selling them and you may be taking part in a crime as well."Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance!I would normally rate this 5 stars but am withholding one because of the serial number. Once I find out the status of this knife and how to register it, I'll change my rating.

Great knife, thin handle
Knife is nice & sharp. Handle is thin and does not feel solid, comfortable or sturdy like other global knives I’ve purchased.

Global is one of the best kitchen knife makers I know
I bought a paring knife years ago, and used it for everything, cutting up hard squashes for cooking, chopping onions, etc.I was heart broken when I lost it. Luckily I was able to get another knife online that is just as good if not better than the one I lost. The knife has a very comfortable grip, and the blade is long enough to use on melons. It is great for chopping, but the shape of the blade is not good for paring. With a grinder, you can make it an extremely sharp knife.

Great knife
I have had knives from Shun, Chicago Cutlery, Cutco, Sabatier, Victorinox, etc . Global are my favorite. Good balance, very sharp, hold an edge and good grip. Don’t scrimp on knives, you will have them for a long time, so get the best, which in my opinion is Global
