Built to last and reliable, with lots of easy adjustment. Great support.
I looked at all the options available and chose this product and make because it looked well designed and made from strong materials.I had seen reviews on others that stopped me from going for the cheaper options either because they weren't very robust or they were uncomfortable.I was right to go with this particular product, even though it was more expensive and I had to pay extra for shipping. It's strong, adjusts very easily and made of metal throughout except the actual arm/elbow supports. There is enough reach to be able to fit them where you want, likely without becoming a barrier for placing your swivel chair under your desk even with armrests.I bought two because even though my desk has built-in consideration for using a mouse and keyboard, I still found my arms were uncomfortable for extended periods during the working day. They are preassembled. The hardest part of using these is deciding where to mount them. Initially, I mounted them with even spacing either side of my chair but after a couple of days realised that was causing me problems reaching the whole of the keyboard easily. Then I adjusted the placement of the keyboard slightly and moved the left support slightly further left. The supports mount using extremely strong clamps that are secured by hand with knobs. One of my buying considerations related to me being worried about damaging the tops and sides of my desk with the clamps. These are well designed with rubber covering all surfaces that come into contact with the desk. Also, the clamp surfaces that go under the desk are really big, so the pressure is well spread and the mounts are not going to budge.Once fitted, it's a case of deciding how high you want them to sit. Adjustment is simple, you literally lift the support and it locks in place automatically. The press of a button underneath drops it back down.It took me about a week of constant use to get used to using these (never used anything like it before) but now I wouldn't work without them. I am much more comfortable and able to work and concentrate for longer. The supports do not feel loose and do stay where you set them, unlike other products. The pads are reasonably supportive, they can be a bit uncomfortable but it's simply a case of figuring out the best placement for your arm or elbow and eventually you figure it out and it's easy to get comfortable. I get up regularly for breaks and it takes seconds on return to my desk to get comfortably back in position. These are built to last and well worth the money.Still using them several months later and they are solid, supportive and comfortable.

Perfect. Supportive and easy to adjust
I am working from home 100% of the time now and about 2 months in, I realized I had the makings of "tennis/computer elbow" from overextending my arm to reach the laptop keyboard from my chair. No amount of adjustments were helping. There simply was no way to support my arm (without having to go out and buy a brand new chair and/or desk.) My desk and chair from my work office were great, but my home office setup did not accommodate my arm as well. This was the perfect solution. My arm rests completely on the device and it swivels and moves as I move. The adjustments were perfect and I find this to be even better than what I had at the office. Perfect.

Game changing for shoulder pain
I've been struggling with carpal tunnel and near constant pain in my shoulder for a few months. I realized part of the problem was switching to an ergonomic keyboard that is tented; while this is good for the carpal tunnel it was making me hold my arm up the entire time I was typing to reach the inner, most-tented part of the keyboard leading to shoulder pain. This arm rest has helped a lot. I mounted it to my standing desk and adjusted both the desk and the arm rest angle to get the exact right height. The shoulder pain has gone down to like 10% and now I can just focus on the carpal tunnel, keep on using my nice ergonomic tented keyboard, and don't have severe shoulder pain anymore. Instead of holding my arm up, the arm rest is doing all that. It's easy to use and you don't have to think too hard about using it.The arm rest itself is well made. It's mostly metal with a few plastic parts. It's easy to mount, has smooth, loose swiveling so it moves with your hand naturally, and is not uncomfortable in any way. These days I'm trying to take more typing breaks but now and then I've forgotten and can do ~3 hours consecutively using the arm rest, where in the past I wouldn't be able to type after an hour. It really is a night and day kind of difference in comfort. Now I won't say this is some miracle product that will fix all your problems, but specifically for the issue of holding your arm up persistently over the keyboard it is ideal. I do think having the standing desk it important to fine tune the height as the arm rest has 5 angles which is good but the desk gives you all the in-between positions. For those if you going through a similar thing it was also helpful to get a trackball instead of a mouse for my non-dominant hand, and I got a keyboard with a bank of programmable keys so I could map keys I'd normally hit with my right (the arrows, page up/down, and home/end keys) using my left hand instead. It's all about minimizing how much you have to do with the hand that's injured.I bought a spare arm rest because this thing is so great and I'll probably be using it forever. Hopefully it will help you too.

Adjustable and flexible
I do like this product as it supports my arm and relieves the pressure. It's flexible enough to move around as needed. The downside is that it's right in the way and needs to be moved often. I now work at my desk all day and I wouldn't be able to do so without this arm rest. I tried a standard non-movable arm rest before this and I have found I like this one much better. It takes some getting used to however, in time, I have felt it's worth the effort.

Love everything about these arm rests!
Purchased these so I could work at my new standing desk without putting stress on my shoulders and forearms and wow.I don't know how I survived without these in the past! When I'm working, they feel like extensions of my arm, not like they're adding weight or causing me to move unnaturally.Once I got the hang of how the rests rotate, it was easy to change positions to reach my mouse and keep typing if needed.Definitely would recommend this to anyone with a standing desk who is looking to relieve pressure and/or keep carpal tunnel pain at bay.

works well and is strudy
I lowered my review. this is less than a year old and the pins keep falling out. trying to put them back in is horrible. when you get one back in 2 more fall out. very bad qualitry==================When I bought this, I fully expected to have to return it. Once I got it and tried it though I knew it was perfect for me. I sit in the living room in a recliner with a custom-made table and my arms get sore reaching for the mouse. this gives me the support I need. it is very studied and it is adjustable up and down to get a perfect fit. I love it.
