Stay cold for hours
My daughter has knee pain and I need to get ready for her gymnastic meets just in case she needs it. I seached high and low for an ice pack that will last and decided to give this one a shot based on reviews. This exceeds my expectation. It stays cold for at least 2 hours. By the time the meet was over (about 4 hours), it still remains cool. The gel just got a bit softer and that's it. I kept it in a cooler bag throughout the whole meet as well.

Fast-freezing, Long-lasting, Durable, Flexible. Amazing.
I have a neuralgia condition in my pelvic floor that has me in burning pain 24/7. Ice is the best and usually only remedy that really stops the pain. Therefore, my world revolves around ice packs. Having enough of them, making sure at least one is always frozen, constantly dealing with leaks from wear and tear as I must sit on them continuously....I finally realized this calls for more than just the hot/cold packs I was buying at my local drugstore. After trying several types and brands, I finally tried Coldest last week. I just bought my second pack today. I'm convinced. These packs may need a full 2 hours to freeze starting from room temperature. But they definitely freeze fast and their large size seems to help them stay colder longer. A lot colder, a lot longer. Perhaps 50% longer than the standard packs I've been using. That extra time means less time spent getting up, changing packs, re-freezing etc. Since the packs are usually still pretty cold when I put them back in the freezer, they don't need as much time to get ice cold again. An hour perhaps. This all adds up to longer lasting cold per pack in less time. With a couple more Coldest packs, I expect it will save me as much as an hour or more a day making trips to the freezer.I'm planning to purchase 3 Coldest packs total to replace the 5 standard packs in my freezer now. And I expect even with 2 less packs I will have both more instant and consistent access to the 24/7 cold therapy I need.Another great thing about these packs is that even when ice cold straight from the freezer, they are still flexible and mold just way I need them to.With standard packs, I usually have to wait 15-20 minutes for the packs to soften enough to mold and finallly apply. Then I'm lucky to get 20 minutes of numbing relief before they become room temperature again. With Coldest, I can use them straight from the freezer, as needed - no waiting! And a single pack stays cold enough to maintain numbness for well past 30 minutes. (I actually will time them at some point in the future to compare and update here with the results)I never thought I'd be writing so enthusiastically about an ice pack. But here we are. And Coldest deserves to be raved about. You can tell they put a lot of love into this quality product. If you really need the best ice pack ever, congratulations you just found it.

It's a great train... Everyone should ride!
My wife has osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and an auto-immune disease, not a day goes by that she doesn't struggle with a great deal of pain. For years we tried different types of water based ice packs, they were either too hard and not pliable at all or they were melting and sweating everywhere getting everything wet. Finally we settled for the old stand by, a bag of frozen peas, which seemed to be the only thing that worked for her. Last spring she injured her knee and I felt that we had finally arrived at a place where the frozen peas just weren't going to cut it, so I visited OLD RELIABLE..... AMAZON! After a brief search I stumbled onto The Coldest Water ice packs. The thing that caught my attention was the fact that these packs weren't actually filled with water or ice, but they are filled with a nifty gel that stays very pliable all the time, regardless of how cold they were. I bought an XL Compress and two small ones. My wife is very frugal and was a little annoyed at me for spending money on ice packs, when we had frozen peas. After the first day of using the new packs she was floored by the difference that The Coldest Water packs made and she never mentioned me spending money on them again. The fact that you can wrap them around the joint was a huge selling point with her. Not a day goes by where she doesn't use her gel packs they have really contributed to making her life a little more enjoyable. It may seem a little sappy, but when you live with horrible pain day in and day out, a cold pack that actually works may not seem like a big deal to most folks, but to the sufferer, it's huge! My dear wife has put these packs to the test and is very pleased with them. The large pack gets the most use and it has started to split a tiny bit on a corner seam, I messaged the company and Amazons automated message told me to expect a response within in two days, The Coldest Water folks responded in just over an hour. Later that same evening I got a message that a new gel pack was on its way... I was floored by that!So if you haven't figured it out by now I'm a BiG fan of this companie's products, "It's a great train... Everyone should ride!'

I use cold packs daily to prep my abdomen for daily injection. I used my new Coldest cold pack yesterday and received an iceburn. Too cold! This works very well, be careful!
