Dividers make it easier....
to make layers/stripes in the soap. If you turn the the short sides one way you can insert 2 panel and the opposite side allows you to insert 3 panels . fun and easy to make stripped soap.

Not what I ordered
The dividers are not acrylic as picture. They a flexible thin plastic. They were also cut too short for the mold so they are not going to be stable. The mold itself is a great product.

Quality set of dividers
I have several of the liners and boxes and they are terrific soap molds. I made this purchase for the divider set and am very pleased with the quality. Haven't used them yet but nothing causes me to expect them to perform wonderfully. Can't wait to try them out!

A little short and/or narrow
I’ve been looking for an inexpensive soap mold with a silicone liner for a class I’m teaching. I purchased this on to try out. It’s sturdy enough to hold up under hobby conditions if treated gently. I was impressed that it was put together using a box joint instead of staples; however the wood seems low quality and would likely break if dropped from a distance. I also would suggest avoiding submerging it in water to clean. I’m pretty sure it would warp. I’m cleaning it with a damp cloth followed by a dry cloth.I would also avoid putting the silicone liner in the dishwasher because it would likely warp and become floppy. Some of the reviews complained that removing the liner from the box is difficult. I had no problem with that but I carefully wiped under the lip after pouring my soap. I can see where soap that is allowed to solidify could make it difficult to remove. The biggest problem that I have with this mold are it’s proportions. I makes a stubby little bar that isn’t wide enough for a standard bar or tall enough for a tall and skinny one. It’s not square either. I filled the mold almost completely to the top when making the pictured soap. The dividers are pretty cheaply made and the slits are arranged oddly. There should be the option of using two equidistant dividers, splitting the soap into thirds. The sections between the dividers are each only 5/8” apart when using the three dividers, making it very difficult to pour into each section. I had very little problem with the soap batter leaking under the dividers because I used one hand to push them down as I first started pouring soap into each of the sections. This is a pretty standard method with any soap mold dividers.Bottom line: The mold should be fine for beginners who want to get into soap making, as long as care is taken when cleaning the mold and liner. The dividers are pretty useless in my opinion and I wouldn’t buy this version that includes them. I would never use this mold for production both because it makes an oddly shaped bar and it wouldn’t hold up long to that much use.
