Really nice little motion activated lights
These small lights work well and are pretty bright. Batteries last a long time too.

Will work right up until you can’t return it and Amazon is no help either
Edit to add - although Amazon didn’t care to help because it was 3 days past the return date when they stopped working, the seller was willing to help. Seller offered to replace them but I was worried same thing would happen and I’d be in the same position trying to find someone to help so they refunded me. So positive review for the seller.Bought 2 sets of these so I have 4. Thought they were great at first. Motion worked great. They were fairly bright. Had them 3 days past a month. 3 days past my return window. Then 1 suddenly went dim (I didn’t even know it turned on). Next evening 2 more did the same. (It’s not the batteries- brand new batteries). So I have only 1 working light now and amazon will not do anything to help me since it’s a few days past the return window. I guess they don’t care that I spent money on these lights that only worked for 1 month. The rep said she would send me the manufacturer contact information and to contact them. I said I wanted it while we were on the phone because just the other day I was told I was getting a link to the seller and it turned out to be a link to the amazon assistant which is most definitely NOT the seller. She told me she didn’t have the capability to tell me or email me while on the phone. Which is completely bs. Sure enough all she did was send me a link to the page to buy the light. I could have gone there myself. No additional information than I already had. So now I am stuck with 3 non functioning lights that are only 33 days old. I about done with amazon too.

Very bright and provides good lighting at night
Small easy to install. Very bright and activates easily by motion on the stairs or porch. These are replacing a hard wired light that stopped functioning.

Somewhat disappointed
These worked great at first but then they stayed on all the time and the batteries quickly wore down. I kept checking to make sure they were on auto and they were. Although they were somewhat protected, they also didn't appear to be waterproof as one rusted right away. On the plus side, I had them on stone stairs and they threw a lot of light. They are attractive and maneuverable.

Great for hunting hogs -- Here's a mounting template
First, I'm not the typical user. I use these for hunting feral hogs. My rifle has a thermal sight so I can see anything in the dark but it's tedious to keep the rifle raised with the sight to my eye for an hour or two so I place these where the hogs will pass. The purpose is not to light up the hogs but just to alert me that they're there. The thermal sight does the rest. I chose this because it's the only model I could find that used small (less than "c" size) batteries. That may be a downside for home users as the batteries (I use rechargeable NiZn) last about a week in my house. Non-rechargeable alkaline cells may last longer. For home use, these are pretty bright; one will easily light up a large master bedroom. Outside, the beam isn't very wide. One will light about 4 feet of a 3 foot wide sidewalk, not something I'd use for that. For a two car driveway, 2-4 will light it up fairly well. They're better for lighting a large area. With fresh batteries, the sensor will detect me at 10-15 feet. Using a lab power supply, I found that drops to about 6 feet at 2.9V. That would be less than 1 volt per battery and they should be considered dead. One problem with batteries in series (i.e. two or more) is that they don't discharge equally (especially rechargeable ones) and the weakest one may go to zero volts or even reverse voltage. That's a throwaway. The brightness decreases slightly with battery voltage. The lack of motion sensitivity is your clue that the batteries need replacing. The sensor is most sensitive to side-to-side movement and will detect straight-on movement at only about 6 feet. This is common for PIR (passive infrared) sensors due to the way they're built. There's a way around it but at a cost.I found too late that you don't need a mounting template. Just turn the base upside down, put your thumb in the hole and rotate the bottom counterclockwise. The bottom plate will detach and you can use that as a template. I attached photos of how I made a template just for grins. Plus a website that will make printable 2-1/2" triangles, easier. Oh well.Mounting screws can be #8 if you're dead-on. #6 works and will allow for some slop in drilling; go with that.So these are perfect for my purpose. They're easily placed anywhere I need them and they use cheap batteries. And they do detect hogs very well.

Meh.
Post posted review post script:After my review (below) went up I got a message from the seller offering a full refund. I am compelled to report this as that is a classy move, IMO, it shows they are a responsive vendor; and I strive to be objective.I declined their offer, but I hope it will remain open. If the lights stop working within, say, 6 months, I may consider taking them up on it. Peace & be well.-JBAs my father used to say: "You buy cheap you get cheap."Overall, it's an okay item. It works. What I do not like:* How the housing/light portion attaches to the base -- it's a tab-in-slot / rotate into locked position-type deal and it's janky. The plastic bends if you put a little force on it; and If you don't line up all 3 tabs absolutely correctly, the housing portion falls out. So it feels like it's seated then you take your hand off and boop. Off it pops.* The illumination is scant. I put one outside under the eaves, about 8-9 feet up, to illuminate a portion of the driveway and it provides less light than the flashlight on my phone. The whole point was to have handsfree light to see to plug in the car.I'll give it time to see if it is actually more useful than my first impression. But for now, a solid "ho-hum" 2 stars.
