The build process was quite intimidating at first with the amount of pieces and parts however after looking at the instructions and getting a feel for the rhythm it was really enjoyable to build! It was also shockingly sturdy for what I expected. It works pretty well for me and my warhammer painting but my only complaint is that I should have gotten a bigger one!

Was looking to upgrade my hobby area. I bought one of these and a few other MDF paint holders. (Two broken token ones, and one no name copy of this). This was the easiest of all the kits I bought. It's sturdy, holds a ton of paint, and the little fasteners to hold the shelves in place are very nice. Definitely helps me keep everything organized and more functional for the hobby area. The one draw back that I have with it is the price. I found an identical version for less than half of what I paid for this one that is 95% as good as this.

Some wood glue and popsicle sticks recommended to make rack, rock solid.As is out of the box, the stand felt weak and a little top wobbly. Luckily able to reinforce with provided scrap sheets that held fasteners. Please look at photos for how to quickly reinforce.The two bottom baseplates do not fasten and when operating drawer it pushes and pulls the baseplates completely out of place. This is fixed by glueing popsicle sticks to join the two baseplates. See attached photos.For 48$ I think it’s worth it. Any higher price, eh. I’ve never had a paint rack so maybe it’s standard build quality but it’s definitely worth spending the 20 minutes to improve the build quality with wood glue and sticks.

Bought this is a gift for my little brother And now I'm still throwing all this paints in a box and discriminately he can put them on his little rack display them and ensure they will not spill.

I was kind of dreading putting it together after assembling others that used rubber bands to hold parts together. This was a pleasant surprise as it used clips for assembly. It might be steady without glueing but I used white glue and the holder is solid and sturdy. Instructions are a bit cryptic and the parts are not numbered but if you look over the instruction sheet well before attempting assembly you'll be fine. (Helpful Hint - If you are gluing the holding clips as you build do not glue the clips (or even install the clips) for the top 1 or two levels until the top two horizontal support beams. Once the beams are in, Install and glue the clips in.) I also used a touch of glue where parts fit together. Once the glue dried I gave the unit a couple light spray coats of clear lacquer and looks great. I just bought a Second One!!!!!
