Like new!
The phone came in all the proper boxes and accessories, looks like new, set up quickly. It updated to Android 13 immediately.I am actually not using it for a phone, but as a hearing aid accessory, since my phone (Moto, which I quite like) does not support streaming via the hearing aids and I listen to a lot of audiobooks. I am happy to have a relatively low cost option for this task with the renewed phone, since it results in my wearing the aids more often.

lightweight; lasts half a day
I use my phone minimally. So thrilled to have such a lightweight phone. However, if I'm running any GPS or music app, the battery doesn't make it through early afternoon.

Phone seemed great except that the camera didn't work.
I actually really liked this phone, which worked great except for one major defect: the front-facing camera would not function. Either just showed a black screen, or would show an image which was out of focus; image would lag and stutter when moving the camera to frame a shot. I was really disappointed that this reconditioned phone was so defective as in all other aspects it seemed to be working perfectly.

A good phone
This phone has a lot of memory so I should not have to worry about running out of room for apps like I did on my prior phone with 16 gigabytes of memory. It also has a high capacity battery to keep it charged for 24 hours. I don't use facial recognition or the fingerprint reader, so I can't comment on those features.

RENEWED model : battery won't quick charge
This Pixel 4a has a lot going for it, especially the compact size and 4G compatibility with many phone companies in the US & abroad. Renewed items usually work without a problem. This phone can be recharged but it never recognizes a QC- or Turbo-charger and it takes a long time to get it to 100%. Using same cable & charger, other phone refill a lot faster.Battery life also isn't great but sufficient.Given the price of "only" $150, I keep it (grudgingly)

Great Value
The phone came in great condition (just a few minor scratches on the backside, the screen was flawless) and everything works perfectly so far, was fully unlocked too. Very happy with the purchase

Good phone... if it wasn't defective!
I've grown to really love the Pixel line of phones, especially the value you can get by opting for a renewed, older-gen A-series device, but it can be a hit-or-miss experience on Amazon. The device was supposed to be in "excellent" condition and granted, it was in very good condition, except for one thing: there were massive deadzones in the touchscreen, making the keyboard infinitely more difficult to use, among other things. Literally everything was frustratingly hard to do on this phone because of the touchscreen, and in my mind, $150 for a phone is still a lot of money, and you wouldn't pay a lot of money and be satisfied with a dysfunctional product would you? So I've opted to return the device and buy another one in the same price range; we'll see how that goes.
