It’s an inexpensive freewheel
18T weighs 171g.I prefer shimano freewheels but unfortunately I couldn’t find an 18T or even 19T. This one works and although inexpensive (1/4 the cost), it lacks the quality of the aforementioned product.

18T Good, 16T Bad
I previously reviewed and returned the 16T version of this product. It lacks removal tool notches. Once installed, that's it. It cannot be removed without disassembling and probably destroying it. However, the 18T version is properly built with notches for the removal tool and works fine. Evidently the different sizes are made by different manufacturers.

Great replacement freewheel
I ride a single speed and had my 16T freewheel freeze up after signs of wear and tear. I was riding it in very hilly areas so the gear ratio with a 46T put too much strain on the old freewheel. I ordered this item as a 18T for a single speed to help with the hills and it worked like a charm. I brought it into my local bike shop and they were able to service it in just 10 minutes because I didn't have the tool to replace the freewheel. I've ridden 100 miles so far with this freewheel and it's great! I highly recommend this replacement part.

Broke on second ride.. a cheapo (lacking grease) but you can use a tool to remove..
The media could not be loaded. Update: this freewheel broke on me on my second ride when I was applying a lot of torque from a stopped position. It just spins felt now, without turning the wheel.Didn't Like:- seems like not enough ball bearings inside (can hear them loose, see video) OR just not any grease in there at all OR face wasn't tight enough?- didn't seem like tight tolerances.. the face had gaps of varying widths where you could see the balls, the face was also not perfectly flat/flush- took me a lot of time to pack both sides with grease since I didn't want to disassemble (pushed the grease through the gaps and spun.. eventually you don't hear any of the balls)- does not work with chains that are the most common (e.g. MTB or road bike chains, which are not as wide as 1/8" chains which this does work with). I spent time with a grinder taking away about .5mm from the width of the sprocket to be able to use more common bike chains.Liked:- 20t- can use a tool to remove- it worksI would have bought a higher quality freewheel but seems like options are kind of limited once you get over 18t.
