GREAT Franchise
I was a major fan of the first Titanfall a few years back and was really pumped to finally get around to picking up the sequel - esp at such a cheap price (at $9.99 it's a no brainer to pick up). How this game is not a major franchise like CoD, MoH, Halo is beyond me. The game is insanely fun and is a AAA title, without a doubt with stellar production value. The controls and gameplay feel much more refined this time around and everything flows so fast and smooth. The graphics are top notch and it runs smoothly even in the chaotic open work battles. All those qualities aforementioned are great, but best of all - the game is just downright fun to play. The single player campaign, although short, is a lot of fun and was a nice addition that the first game missed. However, the multiplayer is where it is at. Matchmaking is a breeze and never takes long to get into the action. Servers are strong and steady and I have yet to be dropped from a game. Lots of different game modes to boot with lots of variety. The unlockables as you level might need a bit of work, as it does get a bit repetitive playing to unlock nothing but slight color hue changes on the same skin pattern for weapons, pilots, and mechs. All the very unique skins can only be acquired though micro-transactions, which I am not a fan of. Overwatch did it right with such great variety in player skins for each archtype, that you can unlock, or purchase if you so chose- would like to see something like that in a 3rd version.Overall, the game is a ton of fun to play and easy to get into. I've logged many an hour into it and still having a great time.

Stunning, Amazing, Beautiful, and Fun. I cannot believe how old this game is.
I just got this game for my boys and they cannot stop playing it. I bought the basic version because of its age. I did not think it would look good or play well, but I was sooooo wrong. I almost never leave reviews but this game is just stunning. It plays smooth, it still has plenty of other people playing on line too, and it is beautiful to play and watch. Why the company has not made a part III is just stupid. I just went back and bought the original Titan Fall because we want to know how things all started. If you have not bought this game and you like shooting and blowing things up and driving giant robots then get this game. It is one of the best games we have ever purchased. I cannot believe how old this game is, to me it looks like a newly released game. Game on my brothers, game on.

This game is amazing.
Titanfall 2 is an awsome game! It is definitely an improvement over the first Titanfall. Here's why:Campaign: Titanfall 2 has an incredible campaign! Each level is fun, action-packed, and unique. If you play Titanfall 2's levels, make sure to play them on either one of the two hardest difficulties; easy and normal are too easy. The campaign has a great, interesting story to go with it. Titanfall 2's campaign is a major upgrade over Titanfall 1's campaign.Multiplayer: Titanfall 2's multiplayer is a breath of fresh air. It never gets dull and is always fun to play. It is fast-paced and keeps you entertained. Whether you are fighting on foot as a soldier or piloting a giant mech, you will always have a great time. There are now six Titan classes, each with its own set of unique weapons and abilities. There are also more pilot weapons when compared to the first game. Titanfall 2's multiplayer is easily better than that of Titanfall 1.Overall: Overall, Titanfall 2 is a great improvement over Titanfall 1. With a longer campaign, more customization, and a better multiplayer than the first game, Titanfall has the potential to beat big games like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Titanfall 2 is worth every penny needed to buy it.I would like to leave a note about the company that made Titanfall 2, Respawn Entertainment. This company did a great job with both Titanfall games. Not only are the people in Respawn Entertainment very talented, but they are also not greedy at all. There are no microtransactions, paid map packs, or any other priced items in Titanfall 2 other than the few Prime Titans, which are just differently-shaped versions of the regular Titans. The people in Respawn Entertainment deserve every penny that they are earning.

Great game that you don't need to be on line to play

And there are several things that have changed that I don't like. The maps are less expansive and feel
Ok. If I'd never played the first game this would merit five stars. But I've played the first game. And there are several things that have changed that I don't like. The maps are less expansive and feel... Cluttered? Titans are WAY too squishy. No recharging over shield means one rodeo basically ends your Titan. Pilots are slower and TTK is a bit too low.The original game had attk that allowed for escape. The higher pilot mobility and more traversable maps meant that fire fights sometimes ended with a player escaping. The new low TTK feels like every other shooter out there. It's still very very fun and the best multi player shooter in the market right now but it's just... Lesser than it was.The single player campaign is wonderful. It's a typical AAA FPS shooter in length but it incorporates so much of the movement speed and utilizes puzzles to bring something fresh. So a great game. Well worth the money but what could have been a perfect experience is bogged down by some puzzling changes and odd design decisions that leave it feeling much more like CoD. Which is odd because the original shined PRECISELY because it WASN'T CoD.8.5/10 on the video game scale. Worth full price and loads of fun but just off the mark being the multi player masterpiece it could have been.
