Easy set up!
They were SO easy to set up! Just plug and play which is exactly what my postpartum brain needs. No wifi required which I like, and there doesn’t seem to be lag or anything with it. My daughter has dropped the monitor and chewed on it and it’s held up well so good quality. I like the patrol mode, it cycles between the two cameras so I can see both my babies (2 months and 17 months) without having to switch between the cameras.

Finally the volume control I was looking for in a dual monitor!!!
The media could not be loaded. We ordered and returned SO MANY monitors before getting this one. I really love this monitor, it's so nice and small that it fits perfectly in my pocket (most other ones are just so massive). We've had no problem seeing everything we need to on such a "small" screen. The range is incredible, we've gotten it to reach way further than the marketed range. We would have preferred a split screen, but they just don't make them with the volume customization that we were looking for... let me explain. Here is how the volume control on this two camera model (vtech VM923-2) works. If only camera one is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If only camera two is selected, volume can be turned off or on for that camera. If the rotating mode where it displays camera one for ten seconds, then camera two for ten seconds, is turned on you cannot control the volume of each camera individually. Either volume from both is turned on or volume from both is turned off. You cannot have it on rotating camera mode and have camera one on volume level five and camera two on volume level one. They have to be at the same volume level on rotating mode. You also cannot have it on the rotating mode and have volume from camera one on and volume from camera two off. Either both cameras volume is on or both off (on rotating mode). If during the night you have it on rotating camera mode, let's say your child in the room with camera one starts crying. There could be up to a ten second delay in you hearing it through the monitor since it is switching between the two. Again hopefully that makes sense. We have had no issue with this functionality at all, we really love how it works. One other small note, as you're selecting options on the menu, the monitor makes a "confirmation noise". It cannot be turned down or turned off. So if you go to change something during the night be prepared to hear that each time.Apparently I'm very passionate about this, considering I just wrote a novel, but I just read so many reviews for so many monitors while we were shopping for one and no one would explain how volume on a two camera monitor works. So hopefully I've helped someone out there who was like me!

VM923 does not have a split screen option
I saw a review that showed this version with a split screen option to view both cameras simultaneously. It DOES NOT have a split screen option. Other than that it’s plug and play extremely simple to set up . I would definitely recommend.

Excellent sound and signal!
I absolutely love that I can watch upstairs and downstairs no matter where the kids are, all from one camera! The patrol mode where it flips between cameras has proven to be excellent! The battery life has been the best of any monitor I've used yet. The signal strength works from every corner of my house! Only downside is it's much smaller screen than anticipated i didn't realize only 2" and the picture quality isn't exactly the clearest, but I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Perfect for the Elderly and Babies!
The media could not be loaded. Perfect for my Nana, she falls down often. The install was easy, just plug and play. Everything was already linked and connected. No reading any instructions.

Takes a mental load off
I did my research on all kinds of baby monitors. I knew I wanted something that had no wifi to keep it a closed system. I love all the features this came with it. I can finally not have to go in and check every 10 minutes while my kid is napping. And when I need to step out to grab the mail or firewood, I can keep an eye out on kiddo and even talk back. The sounds aren't half bad to play as well.I waited awhile before making this review so I have to say it's totally worth it. The best part for me is the swivel and range on this cam.I got it on sale, but looking back I would have bought it regular price as well.I was gifted a vtech audio monitor first which is what led me to getting this video monitor as a new upgrade.

Too zoomed in
The picture quality is pretty good. The sound is good without lag. I feel very comfortable using it knowing it has no wifi capabilities. The biggest problem i have is it is very zoomed in and has no way of seeing the entire room in the same frame which is extremely unhelpful when you have multiple rambunctious boys sharing a room. It's great for watching over the crib but I'll be using a different camera for my boys room unfortunately.
