The media could not be loaded. I wanted these the moment I came to know that there is a way for me to use headphones without running the risk of hearing loss. WeHear OX is 33 gms lightweight and comes with an ergonomic design. It has been built on bone conduction so its headphone driver doesn’t go into your ears. It infact, rests on your cheekbones and sends sound waves to your brain through cheekbones. This enables your ears to remain open to be able to listen to anything that happens in your background, whether there’s someone calling you or your doorbell rings. Is it the best quality audio ? Probably not if you compare it with premium quality headphones or earphones, but the sound quality is actually pretty good. The battery lasts almost an entire day and it also connects with two devices through Bluetooth which helps me toggle between my laptop calls and music on the phone. Also comes in with 72 International Language translation through their app.

I am updating my review, just as I predicted below, this poor design of being unable to keep the headphones safe when not using had hot me. I lost my headphones in 3 days. 10k gone. I know it's my carelessness but this shows that neckbands are the most practical.I would say the overall experience is just about average.1. Its almost impossible to use in noisy outdoor environment.2. If you not using it, how do you store it? Does not hang on the neck, does not fit in the pocket, does not fold.3. After prolonged use does feel a bit sore on the bone4. Overall an ok product, needs more work on the design and definitely needs to be louder when outdoors.

Sound quality if fine. Bluetooth connectivity is good when device is near to Mobile and just okay when the device is 5 meters or 10 meters away.No need to insert this device into ears like other wireless Bluetooth devices.Battery backup will get for 8 hours on a full charge.Good product from Indian based startup.Expecting more to come.Thanks Team.

Worst product. These type of devices available at way more cheaper. Not for hearing loss people. Please don't buy at all. Also no return policy. Worst product.

Purchased it for the lure of new technology. Had few good and some really bad experience.First the good:the earphone truly works. It will fit on the your ears even when you have put your glasses on. So no problem with it.The sound is decent. You will find it heard to hear in a crowded and noisy place as there is no provision for noise cancellation. However, the sound is adequate for a moderately populated area. So serves my purpose right. Also you can easily shuffle between indoor & outdoor modes where there is a difference in volume and impedance. You can change the bass levels in the app so can satisfy bass lovers although never to the level of a noise cancellation headphone.Also, you can use it as a language translator using the wehear app. Although the translation needs improvement in sound and quality, kudos for introduction to a new technology. No problem in it.Now the bad:First and foremost, as far as my recent purchase experience go, never buy electronics during sales from Amazon especially after the most trusted seller was disbanded. You will almost every time end up getting an used piece.I got it at 1500 discount during recent sales.The first package arrived with a dead headphone inside. Must say, Amazon approved my replacement request fast.The replacement headphone came as working (much to my relief) but the seal was broken and there were no accessory (like charging cable and ear Muff) inside.Ideally I should have rejected it, too but had to travel a couple of days later for a long official multi-place trip so had to accept the package. Now, this comes with a 3 year warranty and it will be interesting to see how a start-up honors that after say two years.Now, had I known this, I must have kept the accessories from the first package which I returned in good faith.Some time ago, had the same experience with Xiomi Vacuum mop P that I purchased with a Rs 2000 discount and Amazon refused to replace the same citing unavailability of inventory.Lessons learnt : Don't blindly trust Amazon for high value electronics, especially at discount. Also check the e-store of the original seller for the same item, if available, and at times you will get a better deal there.Edit: After more than a year of usage, the microphone of the headphone started giving trouble. I contacted Wehear helpline and they promptly replaced my faulty headphone. Full marks for honoring the commitment. They have also improved their app a little and the user interface is slightly better than what it was a year ago.This is now a recommended product if you work out or stay in areas with lesser background noise.

There us no bone conduction technology. There are two speakers which sits outside the ears. There is no difference in the sound heard when other person move the headphone so that it is not touching.The mic is omnidirectional and picks up all the sounds from surrounding do not a good option for calls.The packaging is very small, back side of headband is severely bent and doesn't turn into round shape fron the square shape.

The product is innovative in the fact that it protects ears in the longer run. It allows a good balance between the ambient sound and the sound in the device. Very comfortable for long calls and outdoor use. It can be be used as a hearing aid device as well. It is heartening to see a made in India product engineered so well.
